    The Scouting of Darren Barker.

    Most posters don't know him.

    I didn't know him.

So lets Dissect his style and credentials to figure out if he's a credible opponent.

At 1:50, Should this fight had been a DQ?

His latest fight. Zbik also beat Spada by slightly wider scores.

Watch the videos and provide analysis. Intelligent Feedback

I don't want to hear he's Euro bum unless you've watched video and can tell us why.

I will continue to post more videos.

Darren Barker has had one fight after his layoff and looked decent at best.

Other than that he has done very little in his career.

There is absolutely no way of giving Martinez any credit what so ever for this fight.

Quite frankly, I am stunned he is fighting Barker next, utterly bamboozled.

      And I like Barker.

          I agree.

          But you have informed opinion.

Most of the posters here are making an assumption because they don't know him.

I want people to to know who Barker is and what he can do before they decide this fight is legit or BS.

Don't believe anyone until you've checked out a fighter for yourself.

                    Lol.

Never seen that Samuels fight. That possibly should have been a DQ.

Barker is a nice stylist, good amateur pedigree, nice jab and nice right-hand. Not much pop, and has only competed in European class with Spada being the best man he has faced.

He can't beat Martinez. He's superior to cannon fodder like Lockett and spars with a lot of the top men: Kessler, Froch. He's pretty intelligent and speaks about boxing knowledgeably.

It's hard to know how good he is. I mean even someone like Jennings who Cotto fought is a decent fighter at his level but he was nowhere near world class.

The fights between Barker/Lee/Macklin should have happened so we could see who was the deserving candidate.
