The unfortunate part of this is that while there is an actual story here, it's being misconstrued to fit some ideological argument that someone might have against Manny Pacquiao.

The gloves are different. It's not up for debate, and I disagree with Eaner on this one. These gloves Pacquiao wore are unlike any that Cleto Reyes has made so far, and most certainly not like those white gloves you've posted pictures of. The hard edge of underlying material beneath the leather is far more pronounced and apparent in the yellow gloves.

We have ultra high definition images of these fighters and can analyze basically every facet of visual information that results from a professional prize fight. This is the result of being able to do so. I noticed the odd shape of the gloves immediately - the first time I saw them. I posted a thread about this and someone seems to have taken cues from that and posted this youtube video and now this resulting thread.

This is detracting from what started this entire thing to begin with, which is a simple question:

Why are these gloves different?
