You mean the beating that Margartio got by Mosley in 2009?

You mean the beating that Cotto got by Margarito in 2008?

You mean De La Hoya quitting on his stool because the IV before the fight didn't hydrate him enough?

Obviously you know little to shyt about boxing you silly goose. Now Carry on.

Maybe some of the opposition Pac selects wouldn't have a mind set or determination like this but one would have to admit Ortiz, a young and very hungry CHAMPION is coming to fight win, lose or draw. You can count on that.

People want to discredit Ortiz but like to ignore that Mayweather technically destroyed exposed Mosley as being old. Mora validated it.

People like to ignore that ever since Margarito lost his plaster/power, hasn't looked good since beating Cotto in 2008. Not to mention being utterly DESTROYED by Mosley in 2009.

People like to ignore that the POS Clottey hasn't won a fight since 2008 vs Zab Judah.

People like to ignore that Cotto was BRUTALLY beaten and forced to quit on a knee vs Margarito.

People like to ignore that Ricky Hatton was KO'ed by Mayweather and lost his "0" to in return fire his entire team and become a coke head/alcoholic/mental midget.

People like to ignore that De La Hoya was shot and at a weight class he hadn't been at in nearly 10 years just to get a pay day.

People like to ignore that Pac ducked Nate Campbell to fight a weak paper champ in David Diaz who's done what? lol

Yet people want to point out that Ortiz lost vs Maidana 7 fights ago? Or talk about him getting a draw vs Peterson?

Do we really need to go back over all of Pac's opposition in the last few years (again)?
I've come to the realization that when someone discredits almost all of a fighter's opponents, it is highly probable that the poster has a strong bias. Here is a perfect example. This post is foolish.

I don't care for Mayweather the person, but I am very excited to see Mayweather the boxer back. Much respect to Floyd for selecting Victor Ortiz as his comeback opponent. Can't wait for this fight.

HE SHOULD BE CONFIDENT! It would make HBO 24/7 even more INTERESTING if Ortiz...not necessarily talk trash...but DON'T BACK DOWN FROM MAYWEATHER TACTICS! Mayweather is going to bring it to him and he will try to get into the young fighters head, he will bring up him quitting against Maidana he is going to try and get into this young fighters head during the press conferences

Hopefully Oscar will be back soon to host these Press Conferences!

Please stop it who were guys like Cotto,Clottey and Margarito losing too before they fought Pac? If they were fighting Maidana,Peterson and Berto they would all be 3-0 with 3 kos lol. Oscar vs Pac was a joke when it was signed not because of Pac being the favorite if you remember and what Pac did to Hatton was crazy.

He fights with his face, always coming forward trying to do damage.

His defence is weak and you can't miss him.
Right hand leads will land all night long.
Yes he is a little stronger at 147 but skill wise he is the same.

He doesn't move his head and jabs land on him like birds on a tree.
He doesn't have great foot speed and leans in with his chin when he is trying to connect.

His jab is decent but not a stiff jab like a prime delahoya.
His jab can be countered with left hooks from an orthodoxed fighter.

He doesn't protect his body either so body shots won't be hard to land.
Green green green is all I can say about Ortiz.

Fighting Floyd Mayweather with all of his flaws will be a big problem for Ortiz.
The Berto fight is like fools gold because Berto lacked defence, fought bums, and struggles with southpaws.(collazo, ortiz)
Berto also has a suspect chin and stamina problems.

Floyd on the other hand...................well he's Floyd lol.
Great chin, speed, best defence, stamina, toughness, great body puncher, great jab,
can fight on the inside and outside but can also use his legs, most accurate puncher in history, experienced , etc.

Mayweather will bust Ortiz up and by the 8th round the corner will throw the white flag to save the kid from further damage.
Exactly, that's why I don't get this whole he's hungry nonsense. He's just as hungry as he was with Maidana, old folks tour, and Peterson. Fights where he looked like meh...

I don't call a lot of Floyd by stoppage. But, I wouldn't be shocked if Floyd stopped Ortiz.

you obviously got a lot of excuse everytime pacquaio beat someone..

with your logic victor is past prime left over of maidana... just like hatton was past prime after mayweather, right?

another self proclaimed boxing fan here.. LOL

I'm speaking the truth. Hate it or love it.
Watch some video and see for yourself.
Ortiz is tailor made for Floyd.

                      Bias? Not at all
What do you want me to say. That Ortiz has a chance to beat Mayweather?
He doesn't. Not on Floyds worst day.
You can't hit what your eyes can't see so the Berto fight means nothing.
                      Two different fighters (berto/mayweather)
