That's what I'm talking about. We need more trash talking, and less butt kissing. I can't wait for the 24/7 series.

If Ortiz can keep in the inside and keep throwing like he did against Berto he just might have a chance.

When's the last time Mayweather had a strong, hungry warrior in his face like this?

Poor lil guy. He doesn't even realize the beating that he is in for.

If only words mattered in this sport... The only words that matter are Michael Buffer's before each mega-fight

This might be the best damn 24/7 to date. I'm glad Ortiz has a mind set like this. What else would a WW champion say?

Maybe some of the opposition Pac selects wouldn't have a mind set or determination like this but one would have to admit Ortiz, a young and very hungry CHAMPION is coming to fight win, lose or draw. You can count on that.

People want to discredit Ortiz but like to ignore that Mayweather technically destroyed exposed Mosley as being old. Mora validated it.

People like to ignore that ever since Margarito lost his plaster/power, hasn't looked good since beating Cotto in 2008. Not to mention being utterly DESTROYED by Mosley in 2009.

People like to ignore that the POS Clottey hasn't won a fight since 2008 vs Zab Judah.

People like to ignore that Cotto was BRUTALLY beaten and forced to quit on a knee vs Margarito.

People like to ignore that Ricky Hatton was KO'ed by Mayweather and lost his "0" to in return fire his entire team and become a coke head/alcoholic/mental midget.

People like to ignore that De La Hoya was shot and at a weight class he hadn't been at in nearly 10 years just to get a pay day.

People like to ignore that Pac ducked Nate Campbell to fight a weak paper champ in David Diaz who's done what? lol

Yet people want to point out that Ortiz lost vs Maidana 7 fights ago? Or talk about him getting a draw vs Peterson?

Do we really need to go back over all of Pac's opposition in the last few years (again)?

I agree if he can repeat that performance than this will be the fight of the year.

Trash talking is cool and entertaining when you actually can talk trash and be clever with it.

Ortiz is not the trash talker type. He was getting owned by Rios in the trash talking department.

Floyd, I don't get the big hype about his trash talking abilities. I think he's pretty lame in the trash talking department. I don't know what it is, if it's the stuttering that makes his delivery pretty whack. Or maybe because, he says some ignorant dumb shit most of the time. That is just not entertaining. However, he does have his moments when he says a line and it's pretty damn funny and clever. But, mostly it's ignorant stuttering nonsense.

Been watching some old fights on Victor and he is in big trouble.
He fights with his face, always coming forward trying to do damage.

His defence is weak and you can't miss him.
Right hand leads will land all night long.
Yes he is a little stronger at 147 but skill wise he is the same.

He doesn't move his head and jabs land on him like birds on a tree.
He doesn't have great foot speed and leans in with his chin when he is trying to connect.

His jab is decent but not a stiff jab like a prime delahoya.
His jab can be countered with left hooks from an orthodoxed fighter.

He doesn't protect his body either so body shots won't be hard to land.
Green green green is all I can say about Ortiz.

Fighting Floyd Mayweather with all of his flaws will be a big problem for Ortiz.
The Berto fight is like fools gold because Berto lacked defence, fought bums, and struggles with southpaws.(collazo, ortiz)
Berto also has a suspect chin and stamina problems.

Floyd on the other hand...................well he's Floyd lol.
Great chin, speed, best defence, stamina, toughness, great body puncher, great jab,
can fight on the inside and outside but can also use his legs, most accurate puncher in history, experienced , etc.

Mayweather will bust Ortiz up and by the 8th round the corner will throw the white flag to save the kid from further damage.
