Using range is basically almost the same[An alternative] as jogging/moving backward. You basically uses both to keeping further distance away between yourself and your opponent/s. The big difference is though, you won't expend too much energy when you use range by using your pivot foot for steps to backing up. I think it's a much wiser choice for aging Boxers to uses range because they won't have to expend too much of their energy nor would they wearing themselves out in case if they were to jogging/moving backward instead.

I think it's a huge overstatement to say, Floyd will need an extensive use of footwork movement in order to beat Manny. When you keep a far amount of distance between yourself and your opponent/s, It makes it hard for either one of you to reach each other, one of you will have to takes few steps forward in order to have a much closer chance of your punch to reach its target. Then, you can lean your upper body or takes few steps backward yourself, and still have enough space to counter him coming in by using side steps.

Mayweather looks fine against old opponents who are too shot or small to fight at a world class level, but he's very beatable when he fights a prime world class fighter who puts pressure on.

I think Victor will win this and maybe even stop Mayweather.
Please make sure that you give Mayweather the same credit you demanded for Khan after that excellent performance vs Maidana

As much as I would like to see Ortiz beat Mayweather, I really think it is a superlatively obvious that Mayweather would dominate him...

Stick to talking Amir. Outside of him, your opinion of other fighters seems to be limited to parroting the general idiocy of this board. Ricky Hatton was the last opponent mayweather faced that was in his prime as well as unbeaten. But hes faced plenty of guys coming off of big win streaks or who were at the top of their game.

Apparently floyd is afriad of everyone he faces until he fights them, they then were shot or old.

Everyone didint even beleive hed fight mosley, you had some people here not even paying bets because "ill believe it when i see them in the ring" we saw it, and then mosley became old.

Floyd is afriad of everyone until he fights them
