Jump to 3:06, he attempts a leaping left hook, when I watched it live and I saw that...I knew Floyd was gonna have an easy night.

haha get real dude. Floyd really didn't even utilize his size against Marquez. Yeah he absolutely could've roughed Marquez up inside and pushed him around the ring, but he didn't even do that. He just boxed his ears off all night long.Comment

[QUOTE=Chopper417;10667153]But the point I'm making is physically, they didn't look a mess. Are you asking who hasn't looked a mess physcially against Floyd at WW?
Mitchell
Judah
Baldomir
Hatton
Mosley
One did though. It was Marquez.
Well it's not the same bull**** as the 2nd fihgt because the 2nd fight was at 130, A weight both proved they could fight well at physically.
Marquez above 135? Different matter.
The only time that Marquez has fought above 135 he physically looked a mess. This is a fact. He actually admits this.
Whoa whoa Dan, I always respect your opinion man but every last one of those guys essentially got destroyed by Mayweather. I mean outside of 3 rounds for Judah, 1 round for Mosley, and a bunch of wrestling from Hatton Floyd str8 handled each of those guys. I understand what you're saying, but bad examples man.
Basically the issue is that we don't have enough information or examples of Marquez above 135 to make a definitive decision on it. Yes he looked God awful, but he was also fighting one of the best of our generation in a terrible style matchup for him. I would have liked to see Marquez fight someone above 135 not named Mayweather or Pacquiao so I could make a more fair assessment.
Physically, all of those fighters looked good at the weight, atleast.
The fact they all lost badly means nothing. It doesn't change the fact that they didn't look bad due to weight whereas Marquez simply did. Which is the point I'm making.
I would like to see Marquez fight someone above 135 too. But he returned to 135 instantly AND admitted over 135 he was in terrible shape.

JMM has been on the slide for a while, he has been handling his business with the exception of the Floyd fight which is impressive but I can see why people would consider him to not be what he was.
I would put it more on time than size though, Manny will not be able to out range him like Floyd did which played a very large role in why he made JMM look very ordinery.
Hopefully JMM has enough juice left to make it interesting for a while, but I could see why people would feel he will not have what it takes to really win.Comment

OK and?
That doesn't take away that fact about what IronDanHamza is saying that JMM looked terrible physically. Now does it?Comment

If u think jmm looked physically fit in the Floyd fight, then I just dunno what to say to u. He did not carry the weight well at all. That much is clear.Comment

[QUOTE=IronDanHamza;10667185]Fair enough I see your point. The fact that he immediately went back to 135 should tell us something. I got you.
But the point I'm making is physically, they didn't look a mess.

Do you think JMM learned zero from his experience of the Floyd fight, do you think he will make the same mistakes twice~
Those are questions you should be asking~Comment
