It's true that Chambers was overweight in some previous fights, but he was in peak condition against both Dimitrenko and Wlad. Chambers-Haye would be a pick 'em fight.

You further undermined your credibility with that one. Chagaev and Chambers are both better than Thompson.

And while Peter was not better than Thompson, and was no longer a top 10 rated fighter by the time of the rematch, he wasn't a bum either. He was in the best condition he'd been for many years for the Wlad rematch, and had genuine confidence that he could win because of how the first fight went. As such he was a more credible opponent than anyone else who was available to fight Wlad at that time, bearing in mind that the Peter fight only happened because first Haye and then Povetkin refused to fight Wlad last year.

That said, I too deplore the bringing up of race in so many threads by Klitschko fans.
chambers was in better shape than usual but he was still fat and hes still a bum. dont get me wrong hes got talent, he just has no heart at all. he got hit clean ONCE by wlad and went into survival mode for the next 9 or 10 rounds, hes a quitter with no heart. he pulled the same stunt against povetkin, he was up on points then he just stopped fighting and literally gave povetkin the victory.

chambers is fast but his skills are vastly overrated imo, he isnt as good as young or byrd imo, especially byrd. more importantly he has the least amount of heart ive seen in a long time, never seen a top fighter quit so easily, TWICE! haye would kill chambers, as would thompson.

i forgot chagaev, hes a good fighter and was a good win for wlad. i still think thompson is better though. peter is tough ill give u that and he did come to win against wlad but hes slow as **** and his skills are plain embarassing. hes a punching bag.

I think Chambers has excellent skills, he's a top 5 heavyweight. He'll beat the aging Thompson.

Even Klit fans don't rate this as a great victory, so I don't know how much credit you can give him?

Good win, decent performance, on to the next pretender I guess.

It wasn't Wlad's best performance. He seemed rattled.

I think either Haye did suceed in getting in his head, or the booing of the UK fans when he entered and the UA national anthem was played upset him. Steward giving him the third degree between rounds didn't help either.

And perhaps he's slowing down a bit with age. He's had a lot of fights, a lot of rigorous training camps.

But it was a decent performance by Wlad, he did what he had to do. It will be considered a good win, and most importantly, he now the WBA belt.
