How much credit will Wladimir Klitchko receive if he knocks out David Haye?

    How much credit will Wladimir Klitchko receive if he knocks out David Haye?

    I wonder if Wladimir Klitschko will finally receive some of the respect he deserves if he KOs David Haye.

    My feeling is he will be more respected in the UK by the fans and the media, but the unfairly negative comments from American boxing fans and media people like Teddy Atlas and Eric Raskin will not change.

      Quite a bit, I'd imagine. I think you're right about the UK embracing him with open arms if he wins and is gentlemanly about it (which he always is). He's impressed a lot of people in the build up to this fight.

          It all depends in what fashion he KOs him. and how he will fight entire fight.

                  Haye is overrrated as a boxer but he's a dangerous puncher.

                      If he were black and Haye were white, Waldimir would be lauded by American writers like Raskin, Rosenthal, etc.

                                  But most of the UK media people have a better sense of what's fair, so I think they'll give him his props.

                                      it depends on how he KO him.

                                      If he sparks him out with one right hand in R1 then Ahye was overhyped and chinny

                                      If he wear him down and then KO him in mid rounds then it will have went how most expected

                                      IF Haye knocks him down once or twice and WK KO him later in the fight after enduring shots from Haye then i think Klitschko will get proper credit.
