                The only reason this fight is even worth 40 million is because of Mayweather. This is literally a lotto ticket for Ortiz. Don't worry, considering his previous purses he's not sweating the split.

                      Ortiz would be lucky to crack a million against anyone he would be fighting not named Floyd Mayweather (currently available) so he can make 3,4,5 times more than he would make (at least) or he could complain about it.

                      Sure he is taking short money but that short money is actually very long for him, and that is not even taking into account the exposure.
