Clottey didn't even fight Pac. He let Pac swing on him like a 6 year old against his 12 year old brother. Cotto was done in his fight with Pac. Only competitive for 3 rounds. Margarito was a walking pinata. None of them fights were competitive AT ALL. Ortiz looked and performed better then them dudes in his last fight with Berto then all 3 of them did before facing Pac and that's a fact.

As far as Khan. He may have won the majority of those rounds, but it did show the big ***** in his armor, which was evident on the Prescott fight. That his chin is still suspect. There was improvement sure but his weakness was still there even at LWW...

And stop using the Torrecampo fight.. Pac lose to Torrecampo 10 years ago since then he fought Marquez, Morales, etc.. before reaching this level.. Ortiz lose to Maidana and drew against Peterson within the last 2 years. He still hasnt proven anything that would make you think he was a better fighter than what he showed on those fights. Berto was the step in that direction but putting him against Mayweather is a step too far for his level right now.

i dont hate the floyd-ortiz fight, in fact i like it, styles makes fights. ortiz weak point is constant pressure. so i believe ortiz would shine in the floyd fight, as floyd would just counter and pick his shots, things that wont bother ortiz. he will bring the fight to floyd but still floyd would pick him apart, but he wont make ortiz quit.

but against marg, ortiz will wilt.

I like this fight.. First time in a long time that Floyed fights a decent fighter in their prime, and in theri weight class.. coming off of an impressive victory. Much props for taking this fight, and for giving a young lion a shot at dethroning one of the top names in the sport.
