Did Andre Ward feel a little embarrassed

blah blah blah....
Please tell me the rounds you think Froch won. You are really tempting me to go back and watch the fight again.Comment

You better believe it & I CAN'T WAIT. He is a good, limited fighter, that finds a way to win. To hype things up the way he does is downright laughable. Ward is gonna embarrass this fool.Comment

show you how ****** some fans are lol "Yeah Ward Why Don't You Allow Your Opponent To Hit You A Little More So We Can Be More Entertained...It Is Boring Watching You Basically Dominated And Shut Out Your Opponents"...
Ward just need to keep doing what he is doing...WINNING! The hate is coming from some casual fans as well as international fans who are probably pissed off that he basically DESTROYED Kessler and Abraham and want to see Ward lose SO BAD
The #1 Priority for him is to WIN THIS TOURNAMENT I am sure, then after that I guess he can "TRY TO BE MORE ENTERTAINING" but I don't think he should though, your at the top of your Division and your Top 10 P4P and his division is LOADED which means he is in position for some BIG PAY DAYS after this Tournament...starting with the Bute fight
He stood in front of Abraham THE ENTIRE FIGHT, didn't clinch much, no headbutts and he still dominated...what more does he have to do? Just admit it, for some of you, it is really nothing he can do to win your approval...Last edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 06-06-2011, 02:54 PM.Comment

The thing with Ward is that he has almost no fan base, even in the fight with AA there were more people cheering for AA than Ward. So that's the main problem with Ward, not that he's undefeated or that he has great skills, but that people really don't pay to see him fight. We all know that boxing is not like NFL or other sports where you pay to see your team winning no matter what, but you pay to see a good fight, so even when winning is important getting to the fans is also really important especially in boxing.Comment

Make sure you have plenty of coffee it was not a classic.
I gave the fight to Froch by 3 rounds.
But barring 3 punches around the 9-10th round Froch was the only one interested in having a boxing match.Comment

No, fights are not supposed to be judged on how much time a boxer spends on his knees and ran away, but judges have different criteria on how to judge, and something that's really important to remember is that judges just like fans also get impressed when a boxer shows combativity and heart. I've seen interviews with some judges and they ask them why do they gave the fight to a certain boxer and sometimes they say that they did it based on his aggressiveness and the fact that he was looking to fight while his opponent was just running away. Of course that you still need to land punches and not just "chase" the opponent, but boxing is not an exact science when it comes to judges.Come on Dazed. Fights aren't supposed to be judged on how much time u spent on your knees, who ran, who was a scared or who folded. It supposed to be scored round by round and who won each round. By a huge majority, more people saw AD winning more rounds than Froch. PERIOD!Comment

See the bold and underlined is where I have major problems with judging in boxing. Boxing already has rules in place for how to score fights it is not ok for judges to go outside those rules as they see fit because they like a style more than the other. **** is crazy that judges are allowed to do that. If judges are allowed to do that then why even have rules on how to score a fight in the first place? No, fights are not supposed to be judged on how much time a boxer spends on his knees and ran away, but judges have different criteria on how to judge, and something that's really important to remember is that judges just like fans also get impressed when a boxer shows combativity and heart. Scoring criteria: Clean & affective punching, defense, ring generalship, and affective aggression. That is what I know rounds are supposed to be scored on and looking at the scoring in some fights you can tell that judges a lot times do not go by those rules.
Truthfully boxing is just a ****ed up game to be in!!!!!!Comment

120-108 FROCH OVER DIRRELL?
DIRRELL WAS SCHOOLING HIM UNTIL HE STARTED ACTING LIKE A WIERDO FLOPPING AND FADING IN THE LATTER ROUNDSComment

I know I know, my bad.
More like 121-107 to Froch.
Why the record breaking revoltionized score card you ask?
Why does it matter? Froch said so!
Like he said, it was the easiest fight of his life. So it MUST have been that wide.
Anything else makes no sense.Comment
. He'll be forcibly reminded of his shortcomings when he meets Ward.
