You do realize he didnt fight his mandatories to fight Paul Williams and Sergei Dzinziruk right? Zbik didn't get approved for Martinez and the WBO unjustly took that belt away.

SO TRUE. Martinez has probably had one of the toughest schedules over the past few yrs, fightin Cintron, Williams, Pavlik, Williams II, Dzinziruk; BUT, he's duckin Pirog and Zbik! LMFAO!
2nd I love how people also say PAc fights cherry-picked opponents. He has ducked no one either. Would I rather have seen a fight vs. Berto instead of Mosely - yes - but that doesn't mean he was duckin Mosely. Its just all about the $$$, and Berto wasnt well enough known - which is partly his manager and promoter's fault for takin fights against Freddy Hernandez and Juan Urango, and Steve Forbes instead of Cotto or P.Williams

Arum says Martinez isnt a proven PPV fighter. LOL. Just like how he said Marquez wasn't worthy of 3rd fight wit Pacquiao b/c he wasnt proven at welterweight, but yet once his contract wit Golden Boy was over. Surprise ! he was worthy of the fight. I guaranteed if Martinez was a free agent and willin to sign wit Top Rank, he'd be worthy of a fight wit Cotto, Margarito or Chavez

I wrote this earlier.....Chavez jr vs Martinez and Cotto vs Margarito II on the same card and make it a mega PPV card. Latin explosion or something like that. He could even throw Vanes vs newly aquired The Frog Cintron in there too. Sounds like a reasonable TOP RANK card! A great night for boxing fans thats for sure!

True but he can do what he did a few yrs back with Cotto and Pavlik (I think it was these 2). Both fights being the main event in 2 different locations (different hours) and televise them on PPV. I'm sure with those 4 fighters he can hit 1-1.5 mil easily!
