Arum has a point here, Martinez is only known amongst hard core fans. Casual fans might have heard of him. While the Chavez name alone draws . Now that being said.. Bob is using that as an excuse to avoid letting one of his champs lose to someone elses champ. He knows Martinez would brutaly KO Chavez, and Im sure that he thinks Cotto might do the same but its a win win if its Cotto who fights Chavez because if Chavez wins, that gives him another young star champion, if Cotto wins then Chavez is still young has time to rebuild and contnue fighting, and it doesnt look bad if he loses to a world class champ.. Also If Cotto wins Arum gets to feed him to Pac for a rematch for pacs 9th world title at a catch weight of course. Arum is a scummbag. But he has one valid point here and thats that Dibella has not used Sergios recent success to make him a paper view draw.

Jr wants nothingto do with Martinez because he will get KTFO! Jr came in to the ring as a light heavyweight and cod do nothing to a feather fluffer Zbik. I give credit to Zbik cuz he tagged Jr a lot and it could have been a diff story if he had some power. Jr is Arums protected fighter as Canelo is DLH's protected fighter. Forget Chavez Jr. I wanna see Cotto-Martinez. That would be an entertaining fight until Martinez knocks out Cotto. Maybe not Paul Williams status, but knockout nonetheless. Let's not get it twisted. Mr. Bob Arum is also keeping Cotto away from Martinez. For good reason as well. Martinez would destroy Chavez and Cotto without a doubt.
