The better the opponent the harder it will be to KO him
N'Dou was tough as hell. You only have to look at the guy to see that. N'Dou after the fight was found out to have a broken rib. He did touch down also but it was not counted. McCullough stood up to Hameds and Morales best, but those guys can punch. Laporte stood up to Gomez best. These are just tough guys. Cotto's not a totally huge puncher but still pretty damn good. He picks his shots very well.

I'm not even talking to the Cotto fans because the guy is really talented and he deserves alot of credit. I'm talking to those guys who when after he fights guys like Baily and Pinto they see he's a truck who cant no one **** with
then you are just wasting your time being mad at those hardcore fans, that's what fans do...I'm a Tito and Cotto fan but I know their limitations, but I don't get mad at those who doesn't. hopefully we will see some good fights for him in 05...IMO best move would be to go for Harris belt and then Hatton.

He has faught one guy with a real chin (N'Dou) and he didnt hurt him. Chico is the bigger puncher. What makes you guys think that Cotto is so much bigger then Chico. Chico is over 6 feet and could carry his weight to 147. He puts on just as much weight as Cotto. I guarntee you on fight night that Cotto wont weigh that much more then Chico, and thats if he does at all. Commen sense tells you that the bigger the weight gets the less skinny Chico will look. He's not going to look as slim at 140 then he did at 130. Dont give me that about Floyd knocking him down 5 times. Floyd is my favorite fighter but I also know that Floyd's power didnt hurt Chico. It was his speed. Most of those knock downs were because Chico was off balance or caught off guard by his speed. He always got straight back up and he couldve easily finished the fight. Speed gives Chico problems not power. Frietas hits harder then Floyd but he never really hurt Chico, and how can you see that Cotto's been hit by bigger punchers then Chico. No one that he has faught has anywhere near the power that Chico has, but Freitas power is close to Cotto's. I wish Cotto's management had as much confidence in him as you guy's. He was Harris's mandatory for the longest and he never faught him. He's got to step up in class real soon and when he does then alot of you are going to see that he's not as great as you make him out to be. I bet you Corley will give him alot of trouble. Everyone talks bad about Chop but his only 2 recent losses have come to Floyd and Zab. How many fighters wouldve beat those 2
Cotto breaks his opponents down with numerous of combo's to the body and the head. Cotto's defense is very good, so it's hard to connect with flush shots. Cotto doesn't have the one punch power like Tito, but his punches are accurate & does land with power. Chico is a good fighter and I like his style, but I think Cotto would end up wearing him down by the later rounds.

That what I love about Cotto. The way he picks his punches and takes guys apart, like a surgeon or something. His left hook is a work of art.

even now cotto would destroy chico.....cottos body attack will break chico down.....and cotto looks liek a future junior middleweight.....chico reminds me of tarver except more offensive...but he could be outboxed......and if he doesnt knock out his opponent he probalby would lose the decision.......i dont see chico knocking out cotto

i frikin hate cotto and think he's overrated and has beat no one to be called top 5 at 140-but come on..his skills would out class chico and his power would ko chico...a good boxer that can move will ko cotto some day but not chico's slow ass...i mean gatti with his streght and style of fighting would ko cotto before chico ever would...frietas landed so much on chico..that how its gonna be jbut the diff. here is gonna be cotto's power

cotto is outstanding. hes about 21 and his body shots just hurt to watch. against perez, martinez and even sosa, you could see the body punching doing the damage.
