Against Casamayor (fight #2), Corrales moved FORWARD behind his jab.

Did you see the Chico and Freitas fight? Chico didnt move around. Freitas was the one moving and staying away, Chico was trying to walk him down and finally did once Frietas got tired and couldnt move anymore. The rest of you need to get of Cotto's jock. The guy hasnt beaten anyone and you guys act like he's JCC. Being skinny doesnt mean anything. Chico is much taller then Cotto. Chico is skinny only because of his height. He will way just as much as Cotto when the fight comes. He faught Floyd at 130 and came in the ring at 147. What do you think he will weigh at 140. He has the reach, the experience and I believe he is more powerful. He would knock Cotto out

I like Cotto alot but people are just giving him to much credit. He beats Pinto and everyone goes crazy, the he beats Baily and everyone is talking like he is unbeatable. He hasnt beat anyone

Why do you act like Chico's scared of 140. He has faught as many big names as anyone. They were already talking about fighting Zoo, and they were talking about fighting Castillo and thats just like fighting someone at 140. You think all the top guys at 140 would kill Chico? He would destroy Gatti, probally KO Hatton, and probally beat Harris. Floyd, and Zoo would be the only ones I would pick to beat him, and the Cotto fight could go either way

That's the thing. He's tall. His height will hurt him more than help him. The man's a puncher not a boxer. He doesnt use his reach as much as he should. If he gets in there with Cotto, what do you think would happen with those exposed ribs of his. Their just begging to be hit and Cotto aint featherfisted. The rest of us aint hugging on his nutz, we just know talent when we see it. The kid's got a big future.

Common guys Cotto is NATURALLY heavier, with bigger body frame and naturally packs more power than CHICO. Cotto is not going to run around him . . . like freitas . . . Cotto will walk through him. Cotto has taken heavier punches of his opponents at 140 . . . do you really think Chico's jab would affect Cotto's offense?

i am not really a fan of both..but i say cotto ko this a$$...and i think cotto would have an easy time doing it also..i mean he does have skills and i think he could ko/TKO chico late...

cotto just needs to get into late rounds..but i will say this chico power is something that cotto has not fought yet..so this would be interesting

Cotto is a harder puncher, throws to the body as well as anyone, has better defense, is naturally bigger, has a better chin (although he hasn't been tested against top notch comp...I'm positive that PBF wouldn't knock him down 5 times), has better defense, has the better raw skills, is a more effective counter puncher etc etc. Say that I'm a Cotto fanatic, whatever, its true...but I've been backing him for a long time now.

I think Cotto could take Corrales' best punches and would outclass and outpower him, KO'ing him in 9 or less. Corrales is too slow and plods too much IMO. The way to beat Cotto right now is to keep him outside with a powerful jab and try to eat his body up. N'Dou had the most effective strategy so far, smothering a lot of Cottos punches. A fighter like Harris would be a tough matchup as well since he's dangerous at long range.
