I dislike it when people use the Money fight as a reference for Marquez vs Pacquiao 3. 1st of all the styles are completely different...Marquez didnt move up in weight properly and he was sluggish due to that. 2nd...May is very fast and elusive, he's hard to catch and if you're slower than him there's no way you'll land much or hurt him what so ever. 3rd Marquez is fighting Pac...a man he has fought and followed very well. This fight will go the distance...unless Marquez slugs it out...i can see it going down to decision. IDK but doesnt it seem as if Pac is slowing down a bit and isnt moving as much? maybe it's just me...regardless Warquez!

Yeah, it's a complete joke. 2 completely different style match ups. I actually see TONS of credible users bringing up the Floyd fight like it actually matters in this case. No one has ever looked good against Floyd. Period.

I also agree 100% with your post. It's the honest truth. If Marquez wants to make it a war he's gonna get out powered in there. If Marquez decides to JUST box he'll win, and convincingly. However Marquez is a proud Mexican warrior and he's not the guy who likes to get out willed. If you challenge him to a slug fest, he won't back down. That's the only part that worries me in this fight.

I noticed he never hurt Mayweather in their fight at 147. What do you guys think?

jmm obviously doesn't hit hard enough, but pac might be wary of getting counterpunched.

No...he can out box him, but at this weight he likely cannot, he couldn't at lower weights either.

It will be exactly like the other two fights - close.

Marquez has the skills to trouble Manny. Manny has the power to hurt Marquez. Should be a very close fight.

Manny has to be slight favourite seeing as he's been fighting at WW for some time now and has carried his power up. He also has age on his side.

                ...........

Yes, he knocked Pacquiao down 8 times to win 8 rounds. Really he did.

One of the most underrated fighters of this era. If not the most underrated.

JMM is a fool if he puts his chance of winning on the back burner to fulfill a stereotype, his two previous fights have shown him what he could do if he boxes. In the first two fights his brawling is what cost him the fights and his boxing got him into a position for both fights to be at very least disputed. JMM is a gotdamn fool if he slugs just to meet a stereotype...as you said he can win boxing and he has begged for this fight for years he would be a fool to even consider it.

However, if he were getting out boxed in the fight and then tried to slug it out it would be admirable, but if he is boxing and winning theres no reason to slug it out.

After that first post, and now this one it makes me think like you didn't watch the fight.

Watch the first fight please, those 3 knockdowns only happened because Marquez wasn't used to Pacquiao's style. He outboxed him nearly every single round after that.

                      Watch the fight please.
