The only way Tim retains his No.1 status is by either of the following occurring.

    1) Khan loses to Zab
    2) He fights and beats Maidana.

To be the man, you gotta beat the man.

You said Timmy became no1 when he beat Witter. But according to Ring, he didnt. So your logic fails.
I never said after he beat Witter he was num 1 only saidhe beat the num 1 ranked guy at the time he fought Witter..So once again he did beat the man..

Came to the UK to win a title (not many Americans do that)

Unified against Holt, then defended his WBO belt against a couple of solid fighters before regaining the WBC against the #2 ranked fighter in the division.

I'm no Tim Bradley fan but to say he's done nothing is bordering on ignorance.

If Khan beats Zab a top guy at 140 with a belt and Bradley doesn’t fight or fights someone of a noticeably lesser name Khan has a more than legitimate claim of being top guy at 140.
Bradley just defeated the num 2 or 3 in. The Div,and because Khan beats the num 6 fighter in the Div he is num 1??B.S.(imo)Khan has to beat Timmy to get this status..A win over Judah would be great, but not enough to knock Timmy from the top spot..

As you said in your own words 'Ranks are based on opinion' this may very well be your opinion but many people myself included will have Khan ranked no1 if he beats Judah.

Khan can’t beat Bradley because in case you didn’t notice Bradley doesn’t want the fight that is not Khans fault. Your theory about Khan having to beat Bradley to be considered no1 is flawed in more ways than one. For example Khan could impressively beat Judah and then beat say another top 140lbs guy before the year is out, meanwhile Bradley could still be on the sidelines waiting for a fight with Pac, Khan would then be No1 in the division without any doubt at all.

When Amir beats Judah, Amir is #1.

                  Period.

If Bradley sat out all this yr waiting on a pac fight I would have. No problem with Khan taking the spot(quote me on that)but I don't think that would be the case..If Khan beats Judah and then a month or two later Bradley fights and beats Maidana Morales or the Matts Alexander winner then no Khan does not take the top spot..Long story short Bradley would have to be very inactive for Khan to take the num 1 spot without facing Bradley..Oh imo...And I believe it will be the opinion of most that make the rankings as well..At least it should be..
