Oscar wouldve taken Cottos head off at 154 Pounds. Oscar wanted that fight bad too.

Now in that same breath there isnt ONE fighter on Cottos resume that would beat Floyd. Not one.

    LOL!

you mean flurry fister late period de la hoya?

    get real
oscars hands were jelly by the end of his career
his last stoppage was in '06 against the world's most willing victim, ricardo mayorga. mayorga would be stopped by literally every ranked opponent he fought if he weren't freakishly large and strong. he basically sucks for lack of a better term

    he couldn't hurt stevie forbes
    nevermind stop him

prime cotto would walk into the ring at about 152 and whip the ass of the de la Hoya that fought floyd

easy ud, and that's giving oscar credit, because he did show up to fight when he fought floyd

ODH and Cotto in their primes when they fight Cotto gets KILLED. Listen, I HATE ODH and laughed when he ran from Tito. That said, He would beat cotto bad. And that is no disrespect to Miguel.

yeah, but were talking about the ODLH that fought Mayweather, not a prime DLH.

I think that either Margarito or Cotto would have beaten that version of DLH. Wasnt there a calling for Marg vs Oscar at one point?

Maybe Cotto wins but I don't see it. ODH is overated but he is still FAR superior to Miguel IMO.

dont forget both of DLHs uninspriring performances after Mayweather. He was clearly on the slide, and I think someone with Cotto's or Margarito's style would have taken advantage of that.

Seriously? Castillo and Corrales would of beat him just as bad as Margarito did. You gotta look at styles man, Cotto in his prime was no where close to unbeatable. He HATED guys who put pressure on him. To the point where starts backing up. The moment he starts backing up is the moment where you know you got him.

Oh but at 140-147 Oscar at 154 would of given him tons of problems. Sure most of his power had diminished, but the speed, and constant pressure from DLH would of beat him by UD IMO. There's a reason why DLH wanted Cotto and not Margarito.

cotto would walk shane into a corner and break him down if he wasn't willing to exchange punches (which he wasn't when manny fought him, or floyd)
cotto, before he became gun-shy, was a come forward destroyer (obviously with other dimensions) who knew how to wear a man down with body punches and more importantly reduce the size of the ring (the only two ingredients missing from manny's fight with shane, the reason he wasn't able to stop him)

again, in his prime. pre margarito.
                      I would.

If Pac can't stop a shot to **** Mosley then I would very suprised if Cotto stopped the Shane Floyd fought.

                      I just don't see it.
