Why are British fans so much better than any other fans??

Just watching the Hatton vs Mayweather weigh in, why are our fans so much more passionate than everybody elses?? American fans and eastern european fans are boring, its a fight the atmosphere should be amazing!!! I just hope in the future we get another Ricky Hatton that everybody across the nation can support.....

Ricky Hatton was a one of charisma wise though. Man just liked a pie n a pint and that was part of his draw.

Can't say that about far too many British fighters these days.

Well, Hatton was ONE OF US. What i mean by that is, hatton was a true mancunian. The vast majority of his fans were from manchester and we will always back someone from our neck of the words if he represents us properly and that is what Hatton did. Therefore he got the following he did.

Some would say the UK fans are classless but take for example the Hatton chants and singing AFTER Floyd KO'd him - that was PURE Class! Most of the Booing and stuff is only banter but i tell u what when a fighter comes to fight one of our lads in the UK he KNOWS he's Really fighting away from home, must be intimadating, we give our fighters every edge we can

UK fans are crazy, and I mean that in a good way. Really, all the major boxing countries where soccer is huge, which is basically everywhere but here in America, have some tremendous fans. I love soccer as much for the crowds as for the game itself. You can see that same dedication from fans when a home fighter deserves it.

Brits at a boxing fight actually annoy the hell out of me. I hate hearing them singing during the fights. Before and after, idc but I don't wanna hear them during the fight.

There are alot of great fans here in the UK but then again there are also a load of moronic fans, too.

When there is a big known fight in the UK who all the casuals know of all the football fans pretend to be boxing experts for the night. Which is tremendously frustrating.

People Like Ricky Hatton who did have a big boxing fanbase also had a lot of thos casual football fans also which were probably the ones boo'ing the national athem at the Mayweather fight.

Those ones are idiots. And there's lots of them. But the rest, the people who actually follow the sport are great.
