Who ranks higher as an ATG Pernell Whitaker or Bernard Hopkins? I personally think that Whitaker and Hopkins are the greatest fighters since the Leonard and Duran days.

As a youngster, Whitaker was known to friends and family as "Pete", and when he began to emerge as a top amateur, fans in his hometown of Norfolk used to serenade him with chants of "Sweet Pete." Pernell Whitaker.

I agree. Whitaker gave a young prime DLH all he could handle even though he was past his prime. A past prime Whitaker even went on to fight a beast in a young Tito Trinidad. For me Whitaker really gave Chavez his first loss.
