This will be one of the most technical fights...

..if the fight should happen. B-Hop is the man, but C-Daw reminds me of a better Taylor. Make this fight happen!

smh. I see this as an easy win for Hopkins. Chad is not wrapped tight enough mentally yet for a guy like hopkins.. He gets way to frustrated when things dont go his way. I can see him letting off the pedal early and Hopkins upping the work rate and dominating late..I dont see hopkins clearly losing to anyone that doesnt have an extremely high work rate or vicous KO power, and Dawson has neither

B-Hop is gonna beat Dawson, imo if Dawson does not find a real fighter with killer instinct inside of him he will lose to all the top LHW(imo)..

How will he respond when B-Hop get's rough(and ya know he will)??He(Dawson)also does not like to be hit,it bothers him to no end,and really troubled him against Pascal..If anyone can change Dawson from a mere boxer into a fighter it's Stewart..If Dawson does not get nasty,Cloud B-Hop and Pascal will all beat him..The word is out on Dawson he does not like it rough..

Either way, good luck Hopkins, it would be cool if you pulled it off again.
first Hopkins is going to ruin Dawson. Second you're looking at it wrong. Hopkins just said that so he could sell his money fight with Jones then he fought the winner of Dawson Pascal.

pascal frustrated dawson to the point dawson didn't know what to do but start to try and just go for it, which was a poor attempt at " going for it " against pascal.........

now, with pascal's awkwardness giving dawson fits, with that natural awkwardness which is athletically based......

HOW IS DAWSON GOING TO DEAL WITH THE REALM OF CALCULATED CONFUSION AND FRUSTRATING TRICKS OF HOPKINS!?!?!!??! he had no answers from a guy that is basically a child compared to hopkins in the world of experience and showing different angles and such???

like i've said before, dawson isnt going to out work hopkins....

he's not going to out slug hopkins....

he's not going to be effective in pressuring hopkins or walking him down......

he's not going to out slick hopkins......

he's not going to beat hopkins up on the inside.......

unless hopkins stands right in front of dawson and lets dawson tee off on him, dawson isnt going to win....

now, we all know, that they (hbo and powers that be) will do anything they can to promote, hype, and score a round or fight for dawson, like all the others but the facts of the matter are there to be seen, bright and shinny....

dawson is going to look like he's been through a wood chipper after hopkins is done with him..........

hopkins by UD........ unless he gets old over night, gets weak, has no defense, no offense, and stands right in front of dawson, other than that, i do't see dawson bringing anything to the fight other than SHAWS FAT AZZ.............

It is the logical fight, I am happy to see and I will gladly watch it. I am however not pumped for it though because I just can see a lot of sizzle in the fight.

I favor Dawson because he is young, athletic and he doesn't fight to really hurt the other guy but Hopkins can not be counted out because Dawson is very inconsistent so B-Hop could force him into a fight that favors B-Hop much more.

It will be interesting to me though to watch how it plays out.

you guys are delirious. what part of BUTE WILL NOT FIGHT A LIVE FIGHTER DON'T YOU GET?

bute will NOT fight a challenge. bute has had countless opportunities to fight a challenge but he refuses. you can't make a guy fight someone that he doesn't want to fight. jesus ****.

Good point, cant argue, but Dawson hardly looks shot, faded, or shopworn.

Like Mosley did when Pac selected him.

Dawson can still pull the trigger, props to Hopkins for keeping his word.

dawson is the goods - do not forget that. His only real blemish is that he fights to his competitions level. Yes he may have some mental shortcomings, but thats why he hired steward! Floyd said that dawson was the goods, and he also endorsed andre ward so lets not ride chad off just yet - the man can throw every punch in the book and has exceptional speed, good footwork, and keep you honest power. Now on to Mr. hopkins. he can out think chad, possibly hits about even or a little harder due to his exceptional punch placement. exceptional defence, but his reflexes have slowed - so if chad can double up on that jab, or double hook the old man (1 downstairs / 1 upstairs) this will be interesting - hopkins doesn't fight like johnson(come forward) or like tarver(lefty, throws good amount of punches) one thing that hopkins does very well is he eats lefties alive!! People really need to stand up and take notice - this man is 46 years old and is fighting very good to elite fighters that are 15 - 20 years his junior, the only one that got away was the great Calzaghe, and if you look at that fight again (It could have gone either way and it showed Calzaghe's bag of tricks).
