well, their argument is margarito got dominated and martinez is around the same size as him

maybe they thought that margarito's size didn't matter when pacquiao fought him, which is not true at all.

sure, margarito got dominated but the size difference had its effects

To some people it is a duck when Manny doesn't fight Martinez

Pacquiao shouldn't be expected to fight Martinez. When you're that big a star...forget it. Not happening. I'd be happy seeing him fight the best welters but he can't even do that.

remember after he won the vasquez fight?

after that sweet pea took on terry norris and bernard hopkins.

sweet pea also didn't fight anyone in a lower division than him after he won a 154 belt.

sweet pea was also never involved in a catchweight title fight.

pacquiao just ain't on sweet pea's level.

sweet pea - jcc sr was a catchweight

The question is very simple. Why is it so hard for you guys do answer that?
martinez would have as much of a size advantage as margarito yet manny was able to beat him.
if sergio is this huge mw as many of you make it seem wouldn't coming back down to 154 be a disadvantage to him?

What I'm saying is that if Pac never decides to fight at 154. Then I can't consider him ducking Martinez. Everybody has a limit. And, I think WW is Pac limit.

And, what I'm also saying is that size would play a role in that fight. People are saying "Martinez is not too big, he's just too good" but actually he's ALSO too big. He does have the skills and styles to beat Pac. But, his size would play a huge role.

One mofo has to eat a lot just to make 150 on fight night. While the other one would have to cutoff a leg to make 150(don't want to see this fight at 150, 154 or just don't do it) so this shows you the huge size difference in a potential match up.
Absolutely. Size will of course mean something.

I wouldn't even be asking for this fight had Pac not won his historic Jr Middlweight title. But since he has, I don't see why not.

Saying size won't play a role is a lie, of course it will. It woudn't be the first time that has happened so Pac, though.

I would love to see it. If it didn't happen? Not to fussed. I'd be find with Ortiz or Bradley for now anyway.

That's all I want as a Pac fan from Pac. Is for him to fight the best available in his weight-class.

A Martinez fight would be great. But, if it doesn't happen is not a duck. But, by some miracle it happens at 154. I would heavily favor Martinez. One not only does Martinez have the goods to beat Pac. But, the size would also be too much for Pac.

This is not Margarito or Clottey or Oscar here.

The fact that martinez cant make 150 and marg could should ttell u that martinez is just to big for any welterweight
