People want to see the fight, that's why they're ignoring all the weight crap...

Any boxing fan that's tired of watching the "great" Manny Pacquiao fight un-lose-able fights wants this. I mean, Manny's suppose to be the greatest fighter of our era, and the face of boxing... Why the hell do u complain that people want to see the person with those titles challenge himself?

i think pac can actually beat martinez UD, but he will go into war and get really hurt. these haters dont understand that pac doesnt need to prove himself by fighting someone whos 20 lbs heavier than him. his legacy is cemented already.

So he can retire afterward..... Big whoop.

Pac is more than capable of beating Martinez, but at the same time, Martinez can beat Pac. Something that can't be said of the people Pac's been fighting lately.

My favorite is when they try to compare this to Pacman making JMM come up to 144 to meet him. As if Pacman will come in 20lbs heavier than JMM

True, these guys are basically the same size. Only difference is one can compete at higher weights while the other can't.

what you talking about? everybody wants to see the fight. this thread is not about whether boxing fans wants to see it or not...that is out of the question. the problem is with the haters trying to ignore the very obvious...there's a massive size difference in addition to the fact that martinez is in a different level skillwise compared to the big guys that pac fought. so obviously pac is in a huge disadvantage. is that enough reason for pac not to take the fight? yes, but can he still decide to fight martinez? absolutely but it's all up to him.

This is a really good post.Pacman has been fighting bigger guys for a while now.But the bigger guys Pacman were fighting were those that had no chance of winning.Old,shot,come forward,shopworn fighters.Martinez is none of that & Roach seen his last few fights.Equals no fight between them.

No kidding, Pac is smaller than 140 lbers like Bradley (and no doubt could easily make JWW,) but people expect him to fight a MW like Martinez.

I like and respect Manny's fight game but Martinez walks through him the same way that Roy Jones did to Felix Trinidad.

I'm also quite sure that if Pac rejected Arum's Margarito proposal, Pac would have been accused of ducking Margarito.

However, it seems more to me that this thread is a response to people saying "who gives a shyt about the weight advantages, Pac should fight him". All that is, is an opinion, and if its different than yours... Deal with it.

It seems like the TS is confusing "Screw the weight reason Manny should just fight him" with the people that r saying "If Manny doesn't fight him, he's a pussy" God put those people on this planet to be ignored.... If u can't do it, u fail at life

lol why do you want pac to fight martinez in the first place? do you think he will be competititve against sergio? do you think he can overcome martinez's advantages? i asked because you've displayed to be more of a pac doubter than a pac believer. i know a lot of people who want to see pac gets beaten...are you one of them?
