he's recently been making statements about his fighting Pac/Floyd. its been a while, but i do remember reading about him saying he'd willingly fight Pac at 154.

martinez being a hypocrite is fine by me. i give props to his skill and his accomplishments and not his character anyway.

    here's hoping for a Pac/Martinez sometime soon!

That last statement made me laugh.

What a load of bull****!!! He's been whining to get the #1 P4P spot since last December. Go ahead and blame the fans.

"Willingly" is a key word there. If the opportunity to face Pac and May presents itself, he'd take it but he's not chasing them. This is a while back though, I haven't caught up on all the Pac and May story because it's really tiring hearing about these two.

After Pac beat Margarito, people were getting on his ass for a being a phony middleweight champ and to prove his legitimacy, everyone was talking about facing Martinez. And then of course, when you talk about Pac, you talk about Mayweather. I remember a video or article of him saying he'll try to get the P4P spot facing good competition if fighting Pac and May is not possible. This was a while ago. Like I said above, I'm not completely caught up with whatever Martinez has been saying.

he's not chasing them? coulda fooled me, with the way he makes statements obviously aimed at them.

if you're tired of hearing about those two, part of the blame goes to Martinez for his tendency to make statements about them like how he'll beat them, how he'll knock out Pac and make floyd go the distance, etc...

How is that hypocritical? Pac and Mayweather both have fought for jmw titles. Sergio has never stated that he wanted to move up in weight but if you can fight for a title in a certain weight class, don't be shocked when people in that weight class call you out to fight.

Sergio is so much closer to SMW then Pac is to JMW that's it's ridiculous.

Sergio weighed freaking 176 one month before the Williams fight. 176lbs.

I would still like Pac to fight Martinez.

                  It is very doable.

Martinez has a lot of flaws Roach can expose with a good gameplan.

yea i can see these fights happening and how Mart fans could see this as fair!! Pac 150lbs(pushing it) vs Martinez 170(or above comfortably)fightnight. Mayw 155-158(pushing it) vs Matrinez 170(s) Id say ok if theres a clause in place stating Martinez CANT rehydrate to more than 157 or 8 no fight night jst to make the weight FAIR. I still have to say that if Mart wants the p4p soo bad he needs to fight THEM within THEIR limits, not hes!!
