I'm guessing this fight will be in late September, probably the 24th. Maybe early October, no reason for a long delay.

Dawson wins by decision, if he's at his best, like he was in the second Johnson fight.

If dawson doesnt cripple like the mental midget he is, he has the skills to end Bhops career in under 4. But he's so soft and a scared fighter.

He has the tools to be a south paw RJJ

I'll bet you 50 million that Chad beats Hopkins. If they actually fight that is. I still don't believe the fight is going to happen.

What tools? I'm honestly curious, not being a ****.

The only good thing Chad has is his jab, IMO. Post-Johnson he's been extremely weak mentally.

He shows guys entirely too much respect, gives them too much ground, is still completely inexperienced at fighting in the pocket, uncomfortable when an opponet puts pressure on him, can't fight in the clinch, etc....

He reminds me of a boy trapped in a man's body.

Once Hopkins gets past his jab, it's over.

                    Done.

Sig it up when the fight is signed, and I'll do the same.

                    116-112, Hopkins.

Just noticed you are stationed in Iraq, stay safe over there, man.

I don't think Dawson will give Hopkins any respect. You can question his toughness all you want, but Dawson has fought nothing but tough boxers recently, including his last match. The fact is he has never been knocked out, or even close to it. I'll give Hopkins the edge on mental toughness, but Dawson is a veteran, he knows what he needs to do to win.

Also Hopkins is a not a puncher, and has the workrate of a grandpa. Dawson can simply outwork him to a decision, but if he wanted to he can also try to get Hopkins out of there.

Dawson's best punch is the not the right-jab, but the right-hook, he can also throw the left-uppercut effectively which is rare for a converted southpaw.
