To be #1P4P, you don't have to beat the #1P4P, you don't even have to beat any one on the top 10 P4P list.

Ask Manny Pacquiao, who was given the #1 P4P spot after beating Oscar De La Hoya, a guy who was no where near the top 10 P4P list, or even a top 10 at WW.

Pacquaio was p4p number 2 for long time and it took floyd to retire for pacquaio get p4p number 1. This was before pacquaio fought oscar. Actually joe calzaghe fans were ready to celebrate when oscar vs pacquaio was announced because calzaghe was p4p number 2 at the time.

The only way martinez can get p4p number 1,
is pacquaio to lose after he beats marquez(if marquez beats pacquaio this november that IMO ring will give him p4p number over martinez)
