I think now isnt the time to decide that. Its always better to rate fighters after they have finished fighting. If it was now though, it would probably be Manny, but I guess that depends on who you ask.

Dont know what to tell you man. Its hard to deny the cherry picking. Let's take the wayyyyyyyyy back machine all the way to Manny's last fight. Go search youtube. Freddie flat out says that Mosley was begging him for a fight and that he told Shane that he was just too good. Then when Shane loses to Floyd and draws with Mora, all the sudden he is just right for Manny. Arum says that it wouldnt be a competetive fight and that he isnt interested in the fight (says this on video)... then he signs it. These are facts, and you can hear the words out of the mouths of Roach and Arum with just a simple youtube search. We can play that game with most of Manny's big wins. They dont even try to hide the perfect matchmaking. I get that Manny is an icon to so many, and thats great. But you have to consider when he beat who he beat. If you cant allow yourself to do that, we have no reason to even discuss this. Shane is getting close to 40 with one ok win in the last several years (coming off a loss and a draw). Margarito has one good win ever, and was coming off a brutal beating, a long lay off, and one lackluckster win against a nobody. Clottey has never won a big fight. Those are just the last three guys he fought. Yeah Manny came up from a lower weight class, but you act like he is going into the ring weighing 106lbs or something. He isnt. He has grown into the class he now fights in. Credit his body for being unusual for being able to do that, but that alone doesnt make you a great fighter.

Everytime some other boxer fought and won they immediately compare it to Pacquiao and say "that this guy or that guy" has better resume or fought a better competition than Manny. If that were true, then they will be rank higher than Manny in P4P rankings and millions of boxing fans would have bought their bout's in PPV's?! Pac-Hater's Logic is ****?!
