LOL, I'm sure it's eating DeGale up. He talked big and looks like an overconfident **** now.
BUT, the rematch just seems like a no-brainer.
Both guys would be looking to raise their levels from the first encounter, for different reasons. The 2nd fight would probably be even better in quality terms.
It just makes sense.Comment

I agree with you, DeGale had his shot and came up short, hey should he be entitled to more? It's irrelevant already in my eyes. He has no more to prove, he was the OVERWHELMING under-dog, yet won and it's now 2-0. People are still saying DeGale can beat him.
Example, Hopkins vs Pascal, it's one draw and one win in Hopkins favour, are people saying Pascal could still win and a rematch is needed? No.
Amateur or not, personally for them it's 2-0 to Groves, DeGale's ego can't handle that. But his fans will just have to.
It's over.
If Chunky won, would he give Groves a rematch? Hell no, so I don't see why Groves has to give one.Comment

This fight was reasonably close, a possible rematch doesn't seem so fat-fetched with the potential that a second bout in this rivalry could be just as marketable and lucrative. DeGale would definitely display more aggression than he exhibited in this fight, so it would also hold the capability of being a more exciting affair.
DeGale is capable of defeating Groves a couple times in a fight series, he just needs a higher quality of preparation, a more suitable fight strategy and a much more aggressive, assertive mentality in the ring.Comment
