I'm proud of Roy. He did better then I thought, and there was climpses of greatness although overall he was merely a shadow of his prime, of course.

When he got stopped I was literally terrified and almost shed a tear, hopefully he'll call it a day now.

What he has done in the ring will never be forgotten, he's an all-time great and such a great guy. I just hope he wasn't hurt from the KO.

Thanks for all the great, great, performances Roy.

So Roy could grasp onto a DQ win and continue fighting? No thanks!

He knew what he was getting into, he knew the dangers, it's on him not Smoger. If he had died in the ring it would of been his own fault. If Roy want's to fight again, that's fine but realize at this point in your career you have a good chance of dying.

While what you're saying is true it's still the refs job to protect a vulnerable fighter. I don't blame Lebedev at all. He's a boxer and it's his job. But if the boxer can see that the fighter is finished(as Lebedev did and looked at smoger) what excuse does the ref have for not seeing it? It's his job and he gets paid to get it right. He didn't.

Smoger did a poor job in that situation and it wasn't the first time.

At least give the Russian people props for staying quiet with concern towards Roy Jones instead o cheering for their guy.

That last punch, I don't know what to think of it. If the fighter is still on his feet covering up, how do you know he's out, you can't even see his face.

I'm not even gonna get depressed over this, i'm already use to it. I wish Jones keeps his word now and retires.

I agree he just stood there and when he DID move in he just kind of gradually moved in after the fact, when he was standing there watching the last few unnecessary shots land. If Roy would have had better legs he could have taken a knee and we might have seen a Dirrell vs AA all over again. This was almost as bad minus it being illegal as Roy was standing up.

Its almost like Smoger didn't want to stop it as he was hoping for Roy to finish the reaming seconds of the last round.

you can question lebenev but cant be mad at him for that last shot because

that was the refs job to protect a fighter who is unable to protect themself

                in that situation...

Roy is not poor, he takes care of his money, the only reason he is still fighting is because of his ego. He can't bare to leave the spotlight and have everybody forget about him and finally stop talking about him. Even if he's getting trashed in the ring, he is happy to promote a fight and train and come in on fight night because he knows the lights will be on him for at least that moment.

Roy Jones is an egomaniac. It's up to him if he wants to live a life disability because of it.
Shut your muther****ing mouth you sorry ****. I wish to god I could get my hands on you because I promise, what Lebedev did to roy is a sunday picnic with the kids compared to how brutally I would lay waste to your b*tch a55!

Roy is a legend! As an American, you should appreciate the good things he did. You are'nt ****. I don't claim you a55hole. Get the **** out. Uncle Sam would be shamed.
