somebody knows what Jones said after the fight ? is he hanging them up as he said he would if he got beat decisively ?

LOL people on here are crybabies and hypocrites. They praise Smoger all the time for giving fighters the benefit of the doubt but when one of their long lost fighters gets pounded they *****. Blame Roy ****ing Jones. This is ***ing boxing, a brutal sport and Roy Jones is disrespecting the game by getting in their with a fighter like Lebedev. He knew what he was getting into, he knew the dangers, it's on him not Smoger. If he had died in the ring it would of been his own fault. If Roy want's to fight again, that's fine but realize at this point in your career you have a good chance of dying.

Well said. Don't blame Denis for knocking Roy out. This is boxing, Roy is putting himself at risk end of. Denis having to carry Roy is an insult to Roy himself.

Unless Denis goes around bragging like he did something unique and impressive, he did nothing wrong. in fact, it would have been more of a disgrace if he DIDN'T try to KO Jones - that would just be sending a message that guys can put on friendly sparring contests and pass them off as legitimate prize fights.

Like I said, appearance had nothing to do with Roy. It was about his mobilization. If he attempted to do the rope a dope routine he was going to get caught. Otherwise he needed to keep moving. Roy said he would hang'em up if he lost.

Roy is truly a great and no matter what anyone says you cant re-write history. What he accomplished will forever shine over his performances for last 7 or so years.

Lebedev burn in hell forever. That last shot was so fücking unnecessary.

He's in there to do a job, aint his fault. If it's anyones fault it's the ref's and Roy's.

Roy Jones's involvement with PEDs and the pathetic end to his career have definitely downgraded his legacy in my book.

Roy is not poor, he takes care of his money, the only reason he is still fighting is because of his ego. He can't bare to leave the spotlight and have everybody forget about him and finally stop talking about him. Even if he's getting trashed in the ring, he is happy to promote a fight and train and come in on fight night because he knows the lights will be on him for at least that moment.

Roy Jones is an egomaniac. It's up to him if he wants to live a life disability because of it.

Arguable. Lebedev only got wobbled because he was carrying Jones and got complacent.

He could have ended that in round one.

RJJ has no business in a boxing ring anymore, much less against a killer like Lebedev.

You have to be kidding if you think Lebedev had even a remote shot of hitting prime Roy clean. Atg's like Hopkins and Toney couldn't even hit him. At least he had the balls to do this and almost made the final bell.
