Roy was slumped over just motionless and Smoger stands there wondering if he is trying to tie his shoe. Lebedev knew he was done and threw that punch anyway....Man, I thought he was dead for crying out loud. Roy knocked him down.....if the ropes hold you up...its considered a knockdown. Roy didnt fight as bad as I anticipated. He threw some decent shots. But his legs were gone after round one. I love Roy, he is my favorite fighter of all time. He's a top 15 all time great and his damn advisers need to shut it down already. There is nothing else left for him to accomplish and he has been done since he dropped that 25 to fight Tarver. Its over. I pray he is okay and not seriously hurt. Go to HBO Roy.....PLEASE STOP GETTING IN THE RING

Seems like Jones from 5 years ago might have taken this one. This might be the time to retire. Maybe take a safe fight, in order to go out on a win. If he's well enough. Hope he's going to be fine, retirement or not.

What handspeed? It's all posturing, it looks like handspeed because of the way he throws it. Compare it to the Roy of old, and not a old Roy, and it's not even close.

His movement that made him so good is not there, but he still managed to win the first 4 rounds atleast, justpot shotting, walking away to the side.

he should have learnt some spoil moves, clinch, lean, not just lay on the ropes with gloves up,that did nothing!.

Lebedev is awful,so slow and plodding, but the power was there once it took him the whole 10 rounds to land it.

Ide hopedroy would make the end of fight and maybe get a draw, but roy is not doing his oldself justice, and cant win any big fights, just hang them up roy with some health intact. thanks for somegreat fights and your great style, but your really just not you anymore.
Hope you paid close attention to what happened to Jones -- that's David Haye on July 2.

Only I felt a bit sad for RJJ, but won't for David Hayte.

              This got depressing:

I will reminiscence the Prime Roy not this Roy:

Roy Jones Jr. doesn't have the mobility anymore. He isn't fluid anymore. Sad, man. Stop shortening your life Roy.

I agree, I think he should retire but if he absolutely has to fight one more time, he should move up above 200 and fight at Heavyweight. Yes he would be in more danger to get Ko'd, but at least his 20 punch per round output might win him rounds.

For that he needs to cherrypick a plodding, heavy on his feet, borderline out of shape Heavyweight in Top 20 rankings and he just might pull out a victory. His current style of fighting just doesn't work against anybody who is light on his feet and is making weight.

Roy: Please stop. You have a long life ahead of you if you stop boxing. Boxing on now is going to cripple or kill you.

well for the first 8 rounds i thought it was an exhibition fight than in the 9th we saw a shade of prime roy with the beautiful hooks in the corner landing on lebevs chin, beautiful! In the 10 th roy should of gotten credit for a kd as the ropes clearly saved him! I kept saying to myself that if only lebedev would keep the pressure on he would stop him and sure enough he did in brutal fashion in the tenth! I also worried Roy might not get up. I seriously hope he is ok after the fight, that was a scary scene for boxing fans! PLEASE ROY,PLZZZZZZZZZ RETIRE!!!
