Shane was running?
You serious? Shane was standing right on front of Pacquiao, everytime Pac threw a flurry he connected.
But he was extremely reluctant to do so,
I think Manny is a fighter through and through.
Clearly in training camp they worked on looking out for Shanes right hand,
Manny needs to just do his own thing and not change anything.
Sure he's one dimensional but it works for him, If he had of been the same Pacquiao who fought Margarito he would of knocked out Shane.
But what Manny has is not enough to beat Floyd, What Manny has Floyd has an answer too.
Ask yourself does Manny have an answer to the straight right hand? E.g. Clottey?
Does he have an answer to a boxer with good ring movement and counter punching abilities? E.g. Marquez?
Floyd answers all Mannys questions and ticks all the boxes.
yes, for 9 of 12 rds Shane was running
not using the ring to box, flat out running
Pac got bored and just went through the motions
he worked more vs Tony because he had to, Tony pressed him all night
sure Pac respected Shane's right, but he didn't fear it
and Floyd doesn't hit as hard as Shane anyway, he's just quicker
Pac has head movement for Floyd's lead right hand
he won't dodge them all since he likes to fight, and Floyd is accurate
but Floyd won't be doing a lot of leading in this fight
and Pac can take his counter right straight
the punch Pac is vulnerable to is a counter uppercut
that's the 1 punch Pac might get hurt by if hurt at all
given how he waked into and through Tony and Cotto's shots, doubt it
and again, stop the JMM-Floyd comparisons
vaguely, they're both counter punchers
but that's it, they don't fight the same
Pac was looking for power against JMM since he dropped him early
he won't rush power shots against a bigger man like Floyd
Pac knows he's not a power puncher at WW
Pac has the footspeed to keep up with Floyd
he works enough that he can cut off the ring with his fists too
Pac's not a plodding bomberer that has to follow him around loading up
How do you know Morales and JMM aint as good as FLoyd? Morales beats Floyd on ATG polls. How do you know Floyd could beat JMM and Morales without them having to step up to floyds weight?
Floyd is easier than JMM.
because i watch boxing. you're going off on some ATG poll. mark your empty calendar for the next pacquiao fight!
Those "moments".....yeah.....Pac almost always seems to have some sort of "game changer" in every fight, whether it's a knock down, cutting faces, hurting them, putting them in survival mode, etc. It's almost a given in every Pacquiao fight with Cleyto's (minus Clottey). In the end, he's won a couple times because of those game changers.
Judges scoring tend to play into the crowd pleasers...Pac's style pleases for 12-rounds. If the fight is close leading into the championship rounds, then this becomes dangerous territory.
If A is high workrate, B is manny Pac, and C is a mayweather defeat. then A + B does not equal C, find another solution, even Roach and Manny know workrate is not the key to a victory.
I only compared power which is easy to see Floyd hits harder than Marquez.
You proved his point. Trying to use some self-righteous bull****. You have no answer. Those that have tried so far said the same thing I said in the first post "he throws a lot of punches".
There is no way he can win as far as boxing goes except a lucky strike with the left.
Hatton attacked with super foot speed and he timed him beautifully. Judah was just as fast. Floyd wont need to do much shoulder rolling. This fight will be in the middle of the ring. One thing I saw in Pac's last fight was that he doesnt know how to cut the ring because he hasnt had to. He followed Shane step for step and did a lot of reaching with his punches. He as to pay for that with Floyd. Countless times you have seen Pac out of position with both arms extended begging for an uppercut. Marquez gave it to him. Shane couldnt. Floyd will make him tenative just like the rest once he starts lunging in. He's guaranteeed to fight that way against anybody who can move.
my dude, Hatton is not super fast, and he's sloppy as hell
Zab has 4 rd stamina
Pac cut off the ring on Cotto and Barrera
he hit Terrible to the body to stop his movement
again, Pac was disinterested in Shane because he was running
not using footwork integrated with boxing, flat out running
don't judge Pac based on that pointless fight
Pac is vulnerable to uppercuts when he rushes a big punch
he won't do that against Floyd
he understands his wrecking power from 126-130 is history now
he fights smarter as a welter against bigger guys
Floyd's not going to make Pac tentative
Pac is faster than him and can take his shots
Floyd can't just stand in ring center and wait to counter
he's got no choice but to be more aggressive
the more Floyd waits, the more rds he loses
that's playing a dangerous game with a faster opponent
If A is high workrate, B is manny Pac, and C is a mayweather defeat. then A + B does not equal C, find another solution, even Roach and Manny know workrate is not the key to a victory.
mm, i think Manny's keys to victory are
tons of angles
overloading the philly shell?
make floyd be more aggressive and find holes
attempt to outbox maybe?
successfully ban condoms in the phillipines to boost confidence
ban condoms worldwide to become the dictator of the planet? :P
