They said the same thing about Hatton and Mosley, Both fighters punch outputs halfed when they fought Floyd.

Look at Shanes punch output on compubox with this fight with Margarito or even de la hoya, his stats are completely halfed, as was Hattons for example.

Manny was completely unwilling to throw against Mosley when Mosley stood on front of him, now think what the hell, the same Mayweather who fought Mosley would of none to Pacquiao that night? He would of demolished him.

When someone stands on front of Manny waiting to counter, Manny gets unwilling to throw.

Dude, exactly what happened when these guys fought Pac? Floyd cuts their punch output in half while Pac beat them into retirement. Mosley landed 66 total punches and 22 power punches the ENTIRE FIGHTagainst Pac. He landed 91 total punches and 46 power punches against Floyd. You can't sit here and act like Floyd is untouchable, most of his recent fights were made strategically so that he could maximize his advantages and payday at the same time.

There is a reason why Floyd is retired and it's called Pacquiao. Floyd doesn't like a pressure fighter because he can't get distance to counter effectively which is all he does these days. Pac, when he dances around, will frustrate the heck out of Floyd because Floyd needs to plant his feet in order to throw because he sits on his back foot and shifts his weight into the punches when he throws or ducks away from the opponent's punches as his weight is already on his back foot. There would be a lot of holding and hugging on Floyd's part in that fight and Pac would win rounds on activity alone.

again, Pac was disinterested in Shane because he was running

don't judge Pac based on that pointless fight

he won't do that against Floyd

I dont know whatHatton you watch but the one Ive seen closes space really quickly with his feet. Now imagine Floyd fighting backwards like Mosley and countering where Shane couldnt pull the trigger. That will go on for 4 to 5 rounds and then it will alternate from jab to stright right down the stretch. Faster than Floyd counts for nothing. And the last Manny I saw is very possibly slower than Floyd. Maybe it was the leg issues. Floyd's right has been stopping much bigger guys in their tracks so why wouldnt it halt a 144 lb WW. Nobody can beat mayweather in a counter punching game. Marquez was made to order for floyd. When Floyd was on his philly shell Marquez basically couldn't land anything.

He can't use that with southpaws because of the angles so he fights with a high guard and is more aggressive. That would play right into Pac's game.

If JMM can out land Pac in power shots, jabs and total punches then why cant Mayweather?
