[[[Holmes would have had no difficulty catching Lewis with his telephone pole jab. Although Lewis had a good jab as well, a few good ones from Holmes would have had him dazed by the middle rounds.]]]

Holmes had more than enough trouble against a poor man's Lewis, Gerry Cooney who was rusty and somewhat inexperienced for their title fight. Lewis fought far stronger comp than did Holmes. Lewis fought the best he could, whereas Holmes didn't fight the best in his division. Moreover, Lewis had an alltime great right hand, a punch Holmes was a sucker for. This would be a boring fight if Larry tried to box and that would be his only hope, to maybe win a decision against a bigger, stronger, equally adept boxer. If Holmes tries to slug it out, he'll be counted out.
I can name several who have more knowledge than you
Jabsrstiff, Marvdave, Yogi, Shoalin Bushido, Barry Boy and im not even thinking hard.
Marvdave, Yogi, Shoalin Bushido and Barry Boy know quite abit about boxing, but I wouldn't put them on my level. Jabsrstiff doesn't know as much as the other names you mention.

Lewis had enough trouble with Mercer. And Holmes two nemesis, Norton and Shavers, would make mince meat out of Lewis's opponents. Let's not under rate Holmes.
This 'J !' charactor is nothing more than a wannabe-somebody, that's all he ever will be.
HAHA NO NEED TO GET PERSONAL. GLAD IVE RATTLED YOUR CAGE.
fact is patterson was an excellent offensive fighter with fantasitc foot andf hand speed however he struggled defensively due to his size and suspect chin with the top heavyweigths, that wouldnt change now.
