    Aside from FMJ the most relevant fight to be made before the fight with Shane was made was Berto for the WBC strap. He got slapped by Ortiz, which makes Ortiz the most relevant matchup at this time........

        I don't see how people think Marquez would do better than the last two fights that he had with Manny besides knowing Pac's style.. I mean both guys went life and death with each other and Marquez will be fighting not at his prime weight and he's also older while Pac has become stronger and more accustomed to welterweight.

        It just doesn't make sense that Marquez will edge out a win, Marquez was on real shaky legs against Kats and even though I don't doubt his resilience Pac's power is a huge problem for him. Pac via UD or TKO.

          JMM is getting stopped in this fight.......quite possible before he even sees it past round SIX.

            Co-sign!!!!!!!!

            But like another poster said, I hope Pacquiao stays around till he becomes older and ineffective so the younger, faster and stronger bucks take advantage of him and KHTFO like he's been doing it for the past 3 years.....Ortiz will be the man to stop the "Pacquio illusion" mark my words.

              Pacquiao= overrated.
              LOL... they are about similar in size with Marquez slightly taller.

                try and meditate on the term itself "POUND FOR POUND", why not ask yourself if marquez is a heavyweight fighting as he fights at his current division do you think wlad have a chance? or say if wlad is a 130-135lb fighter and he fights like he fights at heavyweight do you think marquez will not be the favorite?

                  What does that have to do with real world fights? Marquez is not and never will be a Heavyweight, and Wlad is not and never will be a Lightweight. So claiming that it's okay for someone to fight a fighter from a much lower weight division simply because that fighter is in the P4P top 10 is beyond silly. P4P rankings are based on a fantasy "what if" scenario, not on who would win in an actual head to head fight in the real world.
