I enjoy the writings of, and respect the opinion of Michael Rosenthal a great deal but I do NOT agree with his take on this fight.

    #1 P4P fighting #4 P4P. I don't see the problem, or a mismatch.

And forget about Zab Judah! He's an unprofessional, thuggy BUM!

I don't agree. I can't imagine what will be so different about then and now. If you think about it, dominating Marquez would be a lose/lose situation for Pacquiao because it will allow for excuses to be made regarding the conditions of this fight. People will say, the added weight, the age, the fact that Mayweather dominated him first.
If it's a tough, even fight, where Manny scores the KO late... It'll be the best scenario for him.
I'd laugh if we lose another big fight though, by Marquez not taking care of business in Diaz though.

funny how when pac signed to fight shane he said pac should fight JMM.

I'm also not buying the weight will be a big difference. JMM is a counter punching machine, pac will walk into JMM all night.

we'll just see how much pac had gone up/down with his skills.

i don't expect them to touch each others gloves all night. i can see pac sending marquez bouncing his head on the canvas early on. then have marquez go on a counter frenzy until they have the score cards on a draw yet again.

hes right. Marquez has been ready to go for some time and would have lost to almost all the top guys at 140, and has no business at 147.

I dont expect much from him in the third Pacquiao fight.

Marquez is ripe for the picking and at the end of his career.
