Besides fighting Mayweather this was the only person I wanted to see Manny fight. I laugh at anyone who says this is a bad fight, it can't be any worse than Manny's last fight. Marquez is a warrior and someone who has never gotten the respect that he deserves. He will give all he has in that ring and make this one of a fight.

And those of you saying he should fight Judah, **** that...

Some people act like Marquez is some kind of amateur or something, saying he's gonna get blown out of the water. I guess people forgot that Marquez has fought this guy twice already and knows his style better than anybody. He's the first fighter in a very long time that brings something very important into a fight against Pacquiao, intelligence. Marquez has to rely on his ring smarts to win this fight. People disrespect him by calling him piss drinker even though he's a legend...arrogant pricks.

The only thing were saying is WEIGHT MATTERS!! If weight mattered against Mayweather, it sure as hell is gonna matter against Pacquiao. He took blows from Mayweather all night, but imagine him taking those same blows from Pacquiao all night, he would be KO'd by the 4th round.

I totally agree Marquez is too slow and too weak on that weight he should have taken the fight on 135 or at least at 140.

Yeah of course Marquez wanted a fight at 135 or even 140, but Pacquiao was never going to go down to 140 ... do you honestly believe Pacquiao would've accepted a real competitive fight? never...

Marquez is always tough and his style proved to be a nightmare for Pacquiao in the past; but maybe The Ring's Editor is right, because I believe that Pacquiao improved a lot since his last war against the mexican, who is still the same boxer since that, in my opinion.

Beating Marquez convincingly, even now with the weight difference, would be one of his top accomplishments. Obviously not as big as his first win over Barrera back in the day, but given that Marquez is stylistically the worst match for Pacquiao a win of the magnitude predicted by Rosenthal would be sensational. I expect this to be his closest fight since he fought a guy also named Juan Manuel Marquez in 2008.

                      #1 P4P fighting #4 P4P. I don't see the problem, or a mismatch.
P4P ratings are meaningless in the real world. Wlad is lower than both in the P4P ratings. Do you think Wlad should fight JMM next? And that JMM would be the favourite to win if he did so?
