Never really understood a lot of the hate Dawson gets on these boards. Dude is nice in the ring and IMO the best light heavyweight out there. Glade Steward is in his corner. This is gonna be Chad's year.

Pascal was there to be had and Dawson couldn't, or actually wouldn't go get him until the 11th round. No way he stops Hopkins, even at Hopkins' age. Can't really see Dawson beating anybody elite by KO unless the opening was flagrantly offered to him by some chance. It just isn't in him.

I respect your opinion, but honestly as much as I like Hopkins, I know that Dawson is a younger faster technical fighter. IMO, those are three strikes against Hopkins.

IF Hopkins was 10 years younger, he'd beat Dawson.

I give props to Pascal for showing up to fight, but I just knw that Dawson wasn't in that ring (focused) tht night.

After one poor night, people seem to dislike Dawson and under-rate him.

Chad was very poor and lost his belt because of that, but I'm still a Dawson supporter and believe he's the best fighter at 175. Will he KO Bernard? No, that's not realistic. He has all the tools; speed, respectable power, movement and despite what people say, he has a solid chin.

He just doesn't feel the need to risk going for a KO which is both a good and bad thing, depending on the situation.

of course when a boxer gets his a.s.s whooped hes going to say he had an "off night" .. thats called EXCUSES , and it makes it worse that Pascal is a so called "4 round fighter" because if i remember correctly Pascal was taggin Dawson's face with clean blows well past the first 4 rounds. Chad is a sore loser who got schooled and cried about it, Bhop will demolish him.

i hope Diaconu takes that dude out of the spotlight once and for all.
