I like Williams, but I'm just pointing out the racist double standards of HBO.

If Williams was white, you can be sure he wouldn't be back on HBO right after a KO loss, without first winning a couple of non-televised fights against contenders. Especially not as the featured boxer in the main event!

Please list the white fighters the last 3 years who were headlining either WCB or BAD that got KO'd who were not on HBO headlining their next fight.

HBO must have missed that MO with Andrew "Ive never beaten a top 10 fighter" Golota. He had title shots, PPV fights, and HBO behind him. After all of his pathetic losses and DQ's.

You're a buffoon and garbage poster with your racial agenda.

It is not racist double standards. Pavlik was also their darling for a long time until he started cancelling fights due to illness or other reasons.

They simply like to showcase American fighters. After all they are an American network. Paul though is an exciting fighter and if he is near the end of his career, I have no problem with him collecting a couple good paychecks. Now this opponent is light for him, but he is coming off a bad loss.

Hopefully HBO didn't overpay for this, but it's a nice return fight.

You know they did since Paul is a Haymon fighter. Everybody is jumping on Tunney, but I agree Williams shouldn't be on as a main event fighter unless HBO marginalizes how much they pay for it.
