My father was an amateur fighter and my grandfather loved the sport and used to watch with me every weekend as a kid.

It was the night before the Puerto Rican Day Parade, atomosphere was sick. Even if you aren't a fan of boxing, attending a fight at MSG is something that must be on your bucket list, if your fan of sports IMO.
I was at that fight too. The atmosphere was crazy and i dont know if you remember but Chavez Jr fought on the card and so did a young Juanma.

Like someone else mentioned, before cable descramblers became obsolete I used to get every fight for free. From about 1995-2003 there was always a party at my place for every fight. I was so sad when cable providers finally went fully digital and my descrambler became useless. My interest in boxing over MMA has always made several of my friends scratch their heads, I wrestled in middle school and high school and trained at Duke Roufus Gym...I have always had an affinity for boxing though. I have always sparred with friends and trained with an old golden gloves champ informally.

Now for my other story of how I got into boxing. Men I from Philippines. Pinoy we are best at boxing. Manny PACMEN PACQUIAO punch so hard throw so manny punch! He PINOY liek me and he best all-time! I start watch boxing 2009 but really be fan my whole life. it SOOO obvious MANNY PACMEN PACQUIAO is #1 GREATEST ALL TIME. ALL OTHER FIGHTER SCARED TO FIGHT MANNY! floyd chicken run scare manny! Suger Roy Robson so scare of manny he DIE instead fight manny! ALL OTHER FIGHTER DUCK MANNY!!! HE #1 BEST ALL TIME SAME SKIN COLOR AS ME!!!!!1!!!!!11!!!!!!!!eleven!!1

Watching Roy Jones as a kid. I was a fan of pretty much every sport growing up and Roy made me love boxing. I did kind of tail off for a few years but the internet has allowed me to reconnect. I can see follow it much more closely.

Coming from a family that loves boxing. I would go to all the gathering for all the big PPV fights.

This is the fight however that made me wanna follow this sport.

That first minute of the 12th round is my favorite moment in boxing. I can look back at it anytime and still get the same goosebumps I had when I watched it live. Both men were throwing, you can feel the emotion. You can feel like they both wanted it really badly. It made me love boxing.
