I've come to the conclusion that the fight i most want to see happen is pacquiao martinez at 154 I mean come on would anybody on this site not pay a hundred quid to watch this? It would be awesome and imo a better watch than pacquiao Mayweather which is looking less and less like happening anyway
If Sergio was a natural WW, would he beat Pac or Mayweather?

You take the short yellow bus to school but you got lost because you got into the long yellow bus. You couldn't tell that the long yellow bus was bigger than the short yellow bus LOL.Comment

I know my guy.I'm a fan of the Punisher who makes 147 easily even though he's about 6-3 & has more than 80 inches of reach & finds it hard to make the full 160 when he fights at middleweight. But there are weight classes is right. All 3 have been champion & competed at 154.I don't really see the size difference though between Oscar,Martinez & Margarito at 154 though,do U??But yes,Martinez would easily compete with either at welterweight if he wasn't almost 40 himself he'd probably be able to make ww.He's better than ever-single-fighter that Floyd or Manny has fought at welterweight & above.
He would gass out a few rounds for sure, and lose them, and could lose a UD.
He is high risk, but not unbeatable.
I would like to see him beat Cotto, Sturm and go to SMW perhaps.
P4P wise, I don't feel he has the skills to honestly be with Pac and May though. Defense is a bit leaky, he is sometimes clumsy looking, and his conditioning isn't the best.Comment

Floyd has probs w/ lefties and Serg is naturally bigger he seems to tire abit though and floyd is no easy guy to land clean against at least consistently and Serg isn't as elusive kinda loads up and bombs at times Floyd i'd pick him apart but moving around Floyds shoulder roll d could provide openings I don't think Serg handles constant pressure anf Floyd can tire guys out w/out really using a high workrate so Floyd by dec.Comment

I agree he would compete and probably win at 154, but heck even that would be close. What people fail to realise is that Pac and Mayweather are the best conditioned guys out there.

See that's why I really have lost respect for Manny & I've never liked Floyd.Cotto is not as great as Floyd or Manny,he's roughly around their size, but for some strange reason he's making a bit of a career at 154,too small for the weight. But Floyd & Manny both greater fighters get to have excuses made for them. That doesn't make sense to me.Why is the lesser fighter doing greater things than the greater fighters??
Well, Martinez is a threat but I don't think he is doing greater things exactly. He is more active though.Comment

U do know that Martinez's dimensions are about the same size as Oscar & Margarito right.Besides Martinez is more the size of jr middleweight than middleweight. When it comes to fighting real fighters & not stiffs, then all of a sudden Floyd & Manny are too small. But Floyd wasn't to small when he beat Oscar at 154 & Pacman wasn't too small when he beat Margarito for the 154 title. All of a sudden they're to small though when an elite fighter who isn't shot wants to meet them their & settle who's the best active fighter.
the fact that martinez cannot make 150 lbs (marg was able to make 150 lbs) means he at this point in his career is way too big for pac or gayweather.Comment
