Why are Pacquiao and Mayweather ducking Martinez?

the poster i replied to said it was contradictory for people to say that Martinez should go up in weight and that floyd/Pac should not be expected to do so.

i merely pointed out the fact that both Pac and floyd ALREADY went up SEVERAL weight classes and apparently reached their limit at 154, and that Martinez should just go up ONE weight class from where he is to find more worthy opponents.

errr.... last time i checked, a number of pac fans (myself included) don't consider him an 8 division champ. i personally believe that they could have done the fight without the title.

i don't agree with those who harp on about it, but at the same time, i don't get bothered by it either.

Who ever believed Martinez was ever going to get a piece of PBF or Pac? Those guys aren't going to risk their marquee to jump up in weight to fight the MW champion of the world. And it's not "ducking" that they're not challenging Martinez either. It's both men using common sense.
