Pacquiao might as well go for broke. Who the hell can challenge him at 140-147? There ain't no one, you wanna see more one sided fights? They ain't fit to carry Pacquiao jockstrap homie.
    i don't think its a contradiction.

Pac already went from 106 to 154, with 154 apparently beeing too much for him which is why he went back to 147. that is TWELVE WEIGHT CLASSES.

(in fairness to Floyd, he ALSO went from 106 to 154).

people are asking Martinez to just go up ONE WEIGHT CLASS.

    nothing unfair there.

i actually want to see Pac fight Martinez.

But Pac was hospitalized due to severe body pains the day after his fight with Margarito. And Pac obliterated Margarito in that fight! So much as i want to see them fight, its obvious that Pac would seriously risk his life if they ever fought, since his body simply cannot take the power of a 154 champion.

Is it unfair Klitschko fights guy that are often 3-5 inches shorter than them? Should they fight guys their own size? Quit with this BS.

P.will was making 147, what you got say about that?

Margarito fought Mosley at 147 just a year before he fought Pac at 150. THE GREATER MAJORITY of Margarito's fights were at welterweight, with him fighting at light middleweight only twice in his entire career before facing Pac.

That said, I cannot understand how you would consider Pac draining him at 150, when Margarito spent most of his career fighting at 147.

If you're saying P.will can make 147, then why are you saying Pac DRAINED Margarito when he fought him at 150?

It's very simple economics here: Both Floyd and Manny don't want to fight him, because they'll make no money fighting him, and risk losing. They'll get little recognition if they beat Martinez, and most likely amongst hardcore boxing fans.

It really doesn't do much for Floyd or Manny even if they DO beat Martinez. I mean really, what's it gonna' do for their respective careers? Push them to the top of the p4p lists, which they are already on top of?

And it's not going to make them rich, either.

Trust me, they'd fight Sergio if there was enough money to be made. Regardless of how big he is, or isn't.

Though it is admirable to strive to greater heights and facing bigger challenges, it is also wise to know the limits of your abilities.

Pac experienced this at 154, which is why you never hear of him planning of fighting at that weight class. In fact, he's mentioned it already that he's sticking to 147.

Martinez knows this. In fact, he himself said one time that Pac was too small for him. His constantly calling out Pac is merely a wise PR move to gain more attention to his name. I don't begrudge him for it since its something i'd encourage him to do if i was his promoter.
