Sucks for the idiots who fell for it and wasted their money. The only fights worth paying for are the ones who have a Mexican in the fight with the exception of Chavez Jr and Canelo. These guys give it their all and really put on a fight. Not like the garbage that Arum put on with Pac and Mosley.

Even without his 8 division **** or whatever, Pac is hands down the most exciting boxer today. Imagine if that was Floyd in there with Mosley that night. It would've been the race of who backpedal's the best. To the casual fans who actually tuned in to watch, they probably thought, damn Pac is one scary guy.Comment

I won't be surprised if Arum "accidentally" counted his gate receipt money into his PPV figures.
As for all this talk about "Manny is the first to sell such and such PPVs in consecutive years"...think about this, back when Tyson was fighting post-prison the majority of American homes didn't even have access to cable. Pacquiao is beating a record that was set back when most homes didn't even have an option to buy PPVs...that just speaks about how sad the state of boxing is in America without Americans competitive in the heavyweight division. Boxing should have been consecutively shattering these PPV records year after year. I'm glad Manny is finally the one to do it, but when u factor in availability of technology compared to when the record was set, it was long overdue.Comment

Not as much fans as Floyd's fight that's for sure. They all probably thought Pac is too invincible because Shane was so scared. I think that would attrack fans more, to see someone unstoppable. I mean yeah to us boxing fans, we all know it was a joke of a fight. But to fans, they probably thought Pac was a God of boxing.Comment

yeah really...its not like these third world islanders actually have any influence on boxing while they type away in their netcafes lol.Comment

If you even care about boxing alittle bit than this is good news. But for those diehard fans who love boxing and breath and exhale boxing like me this is great news.
Give credit to where credit is due. Bob Arum is the one who got the deal from CBS(Americas #1 most watched channel)/Showtime. You might now like him but hes a genius when it comes to promoting. Meanwhile GBP hasnt even sold 50K PPV's this year. Those fighters aren't getting the exposure they deserve and it hurts the sport especially when everyday you hear more and more about UFC.
Top Rank/Showtime are the saviors of boxing. Resistance is futile.Comment
