Dzinzurik C - Not proven anything to me.

Cintron C - At 154, even at 147 he was a contender. He said post fight I am going down to 147.

Bunema D+ This guy? Has he beaten anyone good?

A is reserved for guys who are HOF or at least good champions for me.
so tell me who should he have fought instead of who he fought? pavlik middleweight champion he should have never fought him? paul willaims was hot was being labled as most ducked fither avenged his sole lost with a 1st round ko and won in a close foty type fight with sergio. so sergio shouldnt have fought him? what should 154 champ sergio done fight k9 sachel powell? who.

ppl critisize people resumes yet who should he have fought? and why arent you guys in matchmaking

what the hell are you on, dude?

there are thousands of professional boxers on the planet (and i doubt you've ever been around a single one of them)

martinez is considered to be the best MW in the world by virtually everybody (folks who have relevant opinions, unlike yourself apparently)
and most folk have him in their top 3 p4p along with floyd mayweather and manny pacquiao (the former being removed from many expert's lists because of inactivity)

if that alone doesn't give you a "Good" resume...

cintron, pavlik, williams, dzinziruk, had all put together bodies of work that caused people to rank them among the top fighters in their weight classes at the time of the fight w/ maravilla (dzinziruk the least so, though he was undefeated, he was a largely inactive jr MW moving up)
hell, williams was a p4p entrant at the time of their second fight (where he scored a one punch knockout that will go down in history of the sport as one of the best ever thrown [ring magazine had it ranked 8th all time last issue])

        you're clearly a troll.

That is not my question, my question is he has a weak resume. Do you agree?

As for Paul, it was a good fight to get Martinez out there. It was a fun fight to watch, but my question is resume here. This is what people are trying to avoid.

Does he have a good resume or not?

So now you have to have a HOF fighter on your resume to have a good resume? So i'm guessing Amir Khan must have a good resume to you because he has Barrera on his resume and Barrera is gonna go to the HOF. You know how many fighters actually get to the HOF?
Martinez is doing what champions do, he's fighting the best out there and not looking to cherrry pick for easy fights. Who would you have him fight in order to have a good resume. IMO he's been doing well with his competition as of late. Seems like you just want to find a reason to discredit him.

Yes I know he is a good boxer, but boxers are judged by who they fight surely?

So who on his resume is HOF worthy?

The punch that Knocked otu William's was nice I agree.

William's fought Martinez at what weight? William's was feared at 147. Not 160.

Cintron was nto one of the best in that weight, he was a Welter weight, 147 guy clearly. That was his first fight at 154 I believe, but I could be wrong. Certainly for some time.

Dzinziruk is green, and has not fought anyone good for me. I don't rate him if I am honest. Undefeated perhaps, but since he didn't fight anyone of note, it can't be rated that highly.

As for Pavlik, he has not been the same for a while, especially since Hopkin's to me. That can be judged on each person's opinion though. Martinez did go up in weight though.

no i dont think his resume is weak. there is only a handfull of fighters who were lucky enough to be boxing in a division or near a division of stacked possible opponents. i feel martinez only has a few decisions of names for him to fight and most of them dont want to fight him.(cotto chavez) and the ones who did willing he beat. so its not his fault hes a 2 division champion and make the best of bad situation. hes in a situation like klitchkos. they beat everyone but they get critisized like they had a choice or a time machine. whats the pint of discrediting his career?

vic darchinyan has the best resume in boxing and besides him martinez is the only one willing to fight every and anybody. i cant fault martinez not really wanting to go to 168.

OK I worded that slightly wrong. You don't need to have HOF for a good resume, but it certainly adds it. Amir Khan is nto ranked near the top 3, heck maybe not even the top 10 P4P when I think of it.

However Amir has an OK resume.

Maidana is decent. Beat Ortiz who became a WW champ.
Kotelnik is decent. Been a champ and beat Alexander IMO.
Malliagi is decent. Beaten a few contenders etc.. been a champ.

Heck if Dzinziruk is in the mix because he is undefeated, then Mccloskey adds to Khan's resume does it?

I am not discrediting his career, I just personally feel for who he has fought, he is ranked fairly high.

I see Pacquiao and Mayweather way ahead of him P4P. I see them much more skilled than him too.
