He is no longer a fighter.
He is the definition of wasted talent.
A 1st ballot HOF is a waste of talent? Seriously!

I get what you are saying but they are like ODH, Tyson, Ali. They get coverage on the front page of the paper, not just the sports section.
I'd like to believe that their are other stars on the horizon that could capture the public's imagination.

You like Manny so you like his resume more. When you consider who floyd fought when he moved up vs who manny fought its tough to say manny's resume is better. Floyd moved up so long ago that people forget who he fought, and more importantly, at what point in their career he fought them.

Perhaps. But its not guaranteed. Buster and Holyfield Lennox never got to Tyson's level even though they beat his a$$. Shane didn't get to ODH level, Hagler never got to the SRL level, etc etc. Besides, if in 2003 I told you Floyd and MAnny would be what they are now you would've laughed at me.

Do you really think Cotto in 2005 woul've given floyd a problem? At 147? Marg had a better chance because of his style but its not like he was Duran. Thats all I'm saying

floyd moved up and fough jose luis castillo for the lightweight title. No tune ups. Remeber that? Remember undefeated Diego, when he was terrozing muthaphikkas? Se what I mean?

Respectfully, just because floyd didn't fight a guy doesn't mean that fighter is great.
