I agree with that last statement. But after he made all that money, he should have moved on to legacy. I'm not against making money. Legacy in boxing is a beautiful thing, we're all fans here. I think Floyd is the most talented boxer to come along in 15 years. I just wish he would test that talent and immortalize himself among the greatest, top 10 type of greatness, that's what his talent warrants. He simply doesn't want too and it's disheartening to fans alike and the entire sport.

Oh really?
Seems like Alex Ariza had the best prediction of us all.
In a strange turn of events, famed Manny Pacquiao strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza says he would like to see Pacquiao fight Juan Manuel Marquez and not Shane Mosley.
He said Mosley is a quitter when he was talking with the Philippine Star (link is from BoxingScene.com):
"Mosley? He’ll be tired after 15 minutes, so what’s the point of that fight? Manny knocks him out and probably, Manny won’t even train for that fight. That guy is a quitter. He quit against Mayweather in three rounds...[I like Marquez] because he’s got balls. He’s got heart. And he’s ****** enough to think he can beat Manny. So that’s a great fight."Comment

Manny's feelings being hurt do not justify not taking the same OST as his opponent. Manny can be mad, but still he dictated what he wanted, got it, then wouldn't do the same. Thats a b*tch move, whether its Manny or whomever and I think we can agree on that. Its not like floyd wasn't taking the same tests. You don't see that being accused by someone who has a a credibility problem themselves, could be an issue for the accused party? Testing is and has always been a regulatory issue. Floyd perceives himself to be bigger than boxing, he's not. If it becomes a commission rule then by all means, it should be enforced. I respectfully disagree on its application by a fighter.
I think floyd and Manny are bigger than boxing. When you generate the money both do its more than just boxing.Comment

Mosley should have went out the way Mike Tyson chose to against Lennox Lewis. Take your a$$ whoopin like a man. GTFO is better than running in my opinion.Comment

i dont know but if i ask you b4 the fight what would you expect mosley will do? run like a coward..no dude!! i know that mosley has a chance on manny by one punch thats why expect him to fight not run..Comment

DUde floyd is a 1st ballot hall of fame boxer. Unfortunately, in this day and age, fighters can get paid without having to fight great competitors.I agree with that last statement. No one participant is bigger than the sport.. It's too steeped in tradition for that. I understand the revenue they generate, but fighters come and go, the sport remains the beautiful thing we all fell in love with as kids. We can agree to disagree respectfully. I respect that you keep it civil and stick to the topic.Manny's feelings being hurt do not justify not taking the same OST as his opponent. Manny can be mad, but still he dictated what he wanted, got it, then wouldn't do the same. Thats a b*tch move, whether its Manny or whomever and I think we can agree on that. Shane was hell bent on making floyd respect him and needed the dough to pay his b*tch a$$ ex wife off.
All he wanted from Manny was the payday so he can lace that fine a$$ girlfriend he has. If Shane had been smart after the ODH wins he wouldn't of needed to take either a$$ whippin.Comment

It's Manny's timing and ability to sneak punches in that his opponents don't see coming. That along with his speed and power, has those guys shook.
Now you may think I'm d1ck riding Manny, but these are the same words that are coming outta Clottey and Shane's mouth.
No lie, I'm just baffled at the fact that he had those guys, including Cotto scared to throw and in retreat mode, especially when they have been in the ring with bigger guys who also pack huge punches.Comment
