I thought the SKY commentators did a much better job that Bernstein and the other Showtime commentators.

They were OBJECTIVE and suggested that Cortez should stop the fight a few seconds before the corner threw in the towel, because Vasquez was getting tagged a lot and it was obvious he was getting hurt.

But Al Bernstein questioned and b1tched about the decision by WV2's corner. Obviously he wanted the young Top Rank fighter to win. Bernstein seems to be mentally unable to call a fight objectively, without favoring one fighter over another.
I agree. Let's not forget there will still 2 mins left in the round and Vasquez would have been badly hurt.

Good stoppage and I also felt Arce was slightly ahead.

yea me too I think I had only given Vazquez 3 or four rounds. Even in the round he knocked down arce arce was winning the round easy. Arce was throwing more landing more and making it the fight he wanted.

Long time Jorge Arce supporter here. I wish they woulda let him bring the dancing horse with him. Just when they thought he was finished he shows them what a real fighter is made of. Best fight of the night. WV2 also has earned my respect as well. The kid is gonna be great.
