Agree. I said that Vasquez thought he would be the bigger guy, but Arce looked pretty big himself.
We'll see in the rematch what changes Vasquez makes. He is a very green guy when it comes to this boxing thing, and he was up against a tough veteran.
I said it all along I thought people were underestimating Arce.

I disagree, Vazquez Jr. was overtrained or something. A "normal" WV Jr brawls and KO's Arce within 8 rounds. He had no legs and was tired by the 6th round.

Props to Arce for the hard fought W.

As per those who think we have nothing left because Vazquez jr & Juanma have 1 loss, Calderon 2 losses, Cotto 2 losses, Rocky Martinez 1 loss and Seda 1 loss, and clearly a ****load of prospects coming up....clearly know nothing about the sport of boxing. Boxing isnt based on an undefeated record....Look at the main event (Pacquiao - Mosley) 9 losses between them.
Do worry bro PR will have great fighters coming soon
It in Puerto Rican and MEXICAN blood

Vasquez had no business fighting a guy with over 20 yrs of fighting experience. JCC jr has fought nobodies since hes been a pro. They shoulda given Vasquez jr. a couple more fights with lesser opponents.

Great fight congratulations to Arce. You could tell vazquez did not have anything left. You can tell his dad was being held back in the corner.. maybe that will be a source of problems down the road.

Props to vazques jr. for trading for 12 rounds with a boxing legend. 4 division champion!

Yes of course there are some great mexican boxers, not just brawlers. Similiar to how there are some great Puerto Rican brawlers (Trinidad) that are not boxers.
My comment was based on the majority of the time. And the majority of the time Mexicans tend to be brawlers and Puerto Ricans tend to be boxers.

I have to agree with that 100%. In fact my dad corrected me a while back with the same examples. People need to stop putting others into boxes..
