Vasquez had no business fighting a guy with over 20 yrs of fighting experience. JCC jr has fought nobodies since hes been a pro. They shoulda given Vasquez jr. a couple more fights with lesser opponents.

Another of our Boricua fighters bites the dust in a world title fight against a Mexican..Major props to Arce for winning his 4th world title in his 3rd division in a really good fight..I was rooting ALL the way for My countryman Vazquez jr, but I also say it as I see it & at the end Vazquez jr was gassed out & so was Arce, the ONLY difference was that Arce wouldn't stop swinging!! I had the fight even at the 10nth round & the 11th was for Arce & the 12th was going the same way!! Even thou I don't think the Vazquez jr was going to win(on the score cards), I don't think the fight should have been stopped cause Arce was landing, but they were all arm punches..That's what sometimes happens when a fighters father is in his corner, it has it's pros & cons..Vazquez jr was pissed at his father & even thou his father has done a very good job, I think jr should move on(like Mosley, Judah & Donaire did) & get another trainer to better himself..He has learned all he was from his father & with another very good trainer he could better his boxing skills & if he's in a give & take situation(like tonight) a trainer NOT related would be more hesitant to stop the fight just like that..Vazquez jr needs to regroup & learn from this defeat..

Ok so Mexicans got this year, that's fine.however I still believe they are the most unskilled boxers (with the exception of a few). They train to take a beating... they train for stamina that's it. Arce is a great champ, but very experienced and that is what won him the fight. Vasquez has no experience.
